From westlondonsport www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-wls-qpr-v-preston-line-ups-one-change-rangers-signing-tottenham-bench-pne-man-subQPR v Preston: Perch in for HallBy West London Sport 20/08/2016 jamesperch QPR make one change to side for the game at Loftus Road, with James Perch replacing Grant Hall. Hall is suspended after being sent off during the midweek defeat at Barnsley, so Perch comes in at right-back with Nedum Onuoha moving into the centre of the defence. There is a place on the Rangers bench for teenager Chris Paul, who joined the club this summer.
Paul, 18, was signed after being released by Tottenham and is primarily a midfielder but can also play at right-back.Preston, meanwhile, have Paul Huntington on their bench. The defender had been struggling with an abdominal strain. QPR: Smithies; Perch, Onuoha, Caulker, Bidwell; Henry, Luongo; Cousins, Chery, Ngbakoto, Polter. Subs: Ingram, Shodipo, Grego-Cox, Kakay, Paul, Washington, El Khayati. Preston: Lindegaard, Humphrey, Clarke, Wright, Cunningham, Spurr, Welsh, Gallagher, Johnson, Robinson, Beckford. Subs: Maxwell, Huntington, Browne, Pringle, Doyle, Hugill, Makienok.

I hate having to refresh my phone every 10 seconds, especially when the score pops up and is not in our favor.

Half time report from westlondonsport www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/half-time-qpr-0-preston-1?Half-time QPR 0 Preston 1By David McIntyre 20/08/2016 Jermaine Beckford’s 21st-minute goal put Preston ahead at Loftus Road. QPR failed to deal with a free-kick into the box and after keeper Alex Smithies punched clear, Paul Gallagher directed the ball back towards goal and Beckford touched in from close range. James Perch had gone closest to scoring during the opening 20 minutes. Perch, recalled to the QPR side in place of the suspended Grant Hall, headed over from Yeni Nbakoto’s free-kick. At the other end, Nedum Onuoha denied Callum Robinson with a last-ditch challenge after Karl Henry had given the ball away.

And after thinking we were solid at the back, 5 goals conceded in two games and it could be more.
At 1-0 I would have been fairly confident that Seb would work and work and work until he got his customary foul in the box, Chery slots it home and we escape with a point but 2-0 down we're just too toothless in attack to make that up.

Well they really motivated themselves after the Barnsley crap then , served up an even better lot against a team that had lost all three games.
Expect Rochdale to turn us over now. Jimmy really has the defence sorted, 5 goals conceded in the last 2 games to very average teams ....... dire performance

A very disappointing performance. Didn't even bother to show until the last twenty minutes. Almost seemed like they went into this thinking they could beat Preston on quality alone with no effort. Such as shame after the first two high energy/high pressure performances. Hopefully this is a wake up call and not a sign of what is to come, otherwise we will be in League 1 next season.

Never get too down over a loss, nor too up, after a win. A draw at home, a little down a draw away a little up.

Ned leading the way with an own goal. See they build our hopes up and then rip it out with 2 games we really should have won.....and didn't.

That was absolutely dire . Whens it gonna sink in that Perch is a piss poor right back but ok at left back ? Don't think Hall would've made much difference , don't really think he's a strong defender anyway . Caulker ? My god how bad is this guy ? So weak it's untrue , everything about him is poor considering what he's taking in wages , he needs to go so that we could sign what we need . Tuesday night could be uncomfortable viewing on that showing !!

Makes you wonder if Leeds and Cardiff were just so poor it flattered us

Lame excuse to say too many games and Preston had one more day to recover. Ah bless you Jimmy. If that was a performance to put right the Barnsley defeat, heaven help us.
