I would imagine he's at CB with Ned on the right and Perch on the left? Did I not hear the other day that they've been playing Perch on the left?

I follow the Football League really closely, the Championship especially and its a league where there seem to be a fair number of eye catching scorelines. There is usually at least one team that really piles it on and wins 4-0 or 5-0. Not QPR, 2-0 is about as gaudy as it gets.

Always satisfying to beat that lot.
I'll take narrow wins and a clean sheet at home every time.

Good win, shame about the rubbish in between two impressive home wins. Lets beat Brentford now.

Perch looks half decent at left back , Konchesky should never play for us again . Hill was very solid tonight , Henry played ok , Phillips didn't do a great deal until the cross for the 2nd , play offs achievable ? Too inconsistent ? If we'd beaten Mk Dons Saturday we'd only be 6 points off play offs . Warnock doing well at Rotherham , should we have stuck with him?

If we'd beaten Mk Dons Saturday we'd only be 6 points off play offs . Warnock doing well at Rotherham , should we have stuck with him? Just back. Pretty impressed, particularly in the first half - Derby were pretty poor but we were allover them for the first 45 and did enough to keep them off us when they piled the pressure on. Agree that Perch looks a lot better at left back and Henry was pretty solid. Always feel like a good game for a defensive midfielder like Henry is a bit like a good drummer or bassist in a band - if you don't particularly notice them, they're probably doing a good job. My minor gripe would have been that Phillips should have been taken off earlier in the second half when it was clear his legs had gone...and then he crossed in the winner from the set piece, so what do I know? Was really impressed with Hoilett's work rate tonight too - not always with the end product, but he seems to be playing harder, applying more pressure and tracking back more. Play-offs are achievable but that's mainly because it's quite a bonkers division. I don't reckon we will. As you say, probably too inconsistent and to parrot the LFW preview, we are clearly trying stuff out, assessing what we're going to need to do for next season and at this stage it's just as valuable for us for the future seeing what doesn't work (MK Dons/Fulham) as what does work (Ipswich/Brum/Derby). I don't think we should have stuck with Warnock. I'm interested to see where JFH takes us come the summer window and the beginning of next season and I don't think Warnock would have tolerated working with the setup we now have at the club. I also don't feel like he showered himself in glory during his recent spell with us either, in terms of performances or how he conducted himself. I love Warnock to bits for his time with us during the promotion season etc. - it would have been a massive shame for us and him to risk that legacy.

Also, referee was turgid I thought. Plenty of weird decisions and players took the absolute piss out of him with where throw-ins were taken from. Also, felt like he was using a fair bit of guesswork on decisions like corners/goal kicks.

Also back home with a cup of tea now,.
A good display against an under par Derby side. I thought they all worked hard but notable mentions to Hoilett, my man of the match, Hill and Angella worked well together and Perch does play well at left back.. Henry put in a shift and Chery caused them problems, particularly in the first half.
Not the noisiest of crowds but good to hear some good old QPR banter back, poor old Keogh took some stick but seemed to take it well.
Looking forward to Brentford now.

I can't disagree with a word of that 57.
we are building a side for next season & it don't look too bad. Still a lot to be done but we are moving in he right direction.
They worked so hard tonight & managed to put a few moves together in the first half. MOM? James perch imo.

Like most of our games, it was a curious old match. We played with a higher tempo and more energy than normal. It would be unfair to name a few individuals in what was, intrinsically, a good team performance, but I will anyway.
Polter ran his legs into the ground and is a far better player than he is given credit for. His awareness rarely gets mentioned, but he always seemed to know not only where his team mates are, but where they were going to as well.
I think I’d pick Chery as MOM. A fabulous finish was the icing on the cake. He worked across the whole width of the pitch clearly revelling in the so called no. 10 role. Again, bundles of energy and loads of skill.
Faurlin was not that close to his best, but his presence on the field has a calming effect on his team mates (and the supporters). He just played sensibly, was always available and made the team tick.
Clint showed the difference having a proper captain on the field makes. At one point we’d just conceded a throw deep in the Derby half. The team started to drop back, but he forced them all forward again to compress the play; we won the ball back. He and Ale were constantly organising those around them.
We weren’t great by any means, but could easily have had 4 if Hoilett or Mackie had a modicum of Polter’s awareness. Hoilett cut in and shot (straight at the keeper as usual) when driving forwards and crossing was so clearly a better option, Mackie did the same ignoring Faurlin who had half the penalty area to himself.
I'd be very pleased with the same again on Saturday.
