Handy, maybe Jimmy can use that one at 10 PM In all seriousness never an easy place to go, we just ask for a performance unlike the dross of last two matches.

The dream midfield of Henry and Tozser, how can it possibly go wrong?

Who is left back?
Please don't say Perch. According to Wigan supporters he was good at right back but appalling at left back.

The dream midfield of Henry and Tozser, how can it possibly go wrong? When Henry gets sent off, Diakite can replace him and we end up with 9 Diakite must have amassed about 1/2 million since his last outing, nice while you can get it.

I'm struggling to even guess the formation. Has JFH dusted down Redknapp's tombola?

A good point won by the sound of it. Before harr says it, I know it's still only 2 wins for JFH but it's only 1 defeat in the last 8 games.

Consistently drawing that's QPR

Consistently drawing that's QPR Yeah, we do appear to be draw specialists. But that's a decent base to build on. Being hard to beat (apart from when we play Fulham) is a good building block for next season. Hillsborough is a tough place to go to get a result. A point a game will see us safe at the end of the season.

A good point won by the sound of it. Before harr says it, I know it's still only 2 wins for JFH but it's only 1 defeat in the last 8 games. Hey , thats a bit harsh, I wasnt even going to mention it today, now you reminded me I would of taken a point away at Sheff W whoever our manager was. I still dont class a lucky last minute draw at Bolton a good result though. I think its amazing that Preston have won 4 games and only lie 6 points off the play offs ..... Just shows you what was possible still when JFH joined. 14 league games ago and we have about 14 points. If he had won 2-3 more games, like got 5 wins 14 we could have been right up there with 13 games to go. But your right, I dont think 2 wins from 14 League games is a return anywhere near good enough for a new Manager. But its irrelevant Fabs as Tony F all of a sudden after sacking Ramsey(before bringing back Ramsey) has said he can stay until whenever and we have no goals at all next season we can finish 21st for all he cares and Jimmy has a job. Wonder how the other board me bers feel about that though.

At the end of the day a point against Wednesday is probably considered a 'good one' although I along with 8000 others have a better memory of a Sheffield away day!
The first line of attack is always the defence and there is still some work to do, that is painfully obvious, but perhaps we are moving in the right direction……I am writing this although having just seen Wednesday's equaliser it looked like shocking defending. Due to Green's ridiculous contract extension clause we have started to see the next goalkeeper come to the fore. He seems to be doing just fine.
As we have seen, getting rid of Sandro and Fer has not been noticed at all. We are either 'as good' or 'as bad' as when their £50,000 a week was in the side.
Have we missed Charlie? Of course we have and will continue to struggle until the forward line starts to settle down and adapt to each other although it must be odds on that next season will (hopefully?) be without Phillips.
Midfield is a bit of a mystery. I think many of us thought we had more midfielders than we needed but for whatever reason they are often overrun and without Ale lack any real quality. Equally when Ale plays it is obvious that he has not become the player his potential suggested. Be that due to the horrible injuries or he just reached his max we'll never know.
I guess it is the quality of the football that remains the biggest disappointment. We were lucky at Bolton according to the lads that went and I'd rather believe them than our PR spin and I guess the same could be said for last night.
But at the end of the day, I guess it is being thankful for small mercies and accepting that turning around the tanker known as QPR will take time.

Pathetic defending for their goal , poor from Onouha for the pen , looked a penalty later on as well , did we only have one effort on goal ?

There goal looked like our two defenders just said get a head on that and you can have your goal. Really poor defending.
I think as well as lots of positions we lack a good playmaker at the minute, sure that after finally putting Luongo in the starting 11 , he would do the same with Chery but he just refuses to start him.

I think a real midfield 'enforcer' is a must in the summer. Faurlin has had too many injuries, not sure he can handle that role over 46 games now. I want a real mean b*stard in midfield. Kind of like Diakite but without the obligatory red card collecting inevitability. Robinson hopefully solves our left back issues and I suspect Perch stays at RB. We could actually do with the Clint Hill from 5 years ago in central defence alongside Hall. I'd genuinely be tempted to get a real leader type in the centre of defence and move Onouha to RB instead. A lot of our defensive problems come from mot having anyone in CD that bawls out the rest of the defenders and you need that in a succesful defence. Get those 2 elements right and it will make a massive difference next season imo.
