Ya F***en kidding!! Henry starting again? He is so far out of form he'd still come last if the other 8 greyhounds only have three legs each!

Is Hoilett going to be Warnocks new Taarabt

Could be TW, could well be and if he scores 20 goals like Taarabt, fans would be quite supportive of that.

Hoilett does have the ability somewhere in him, he showed it at Blackburn and I don't remember any dissenting voices when we signed him. Wonder if NW's the man to put him back on track.

As with so many talented players we have signed over the last 10 years, they seem to lose form when playing for us. Hoilett is in that boat and you may well be right Fabs, like Timewaster too. Colin might just be able to grab the best out of him.

Beeb match Report.
Managerless QPR failed to win for the third successive match as Preston North End secured a point in the Championship at Loftus Road. Neil Warnock took temporary charge of QPR after Chris Ramsey's dismissal but his side struggled in front of goal. In a tepid first half, Sandro came closest to breaking the deadlock for the hosts when he fired from range. The visitors almost stole all three points late on when Robert Green saved Bailey Wright's headed effort. The result stretched North End's unbeaten run to six games as they secured a club record-equalling sixth consecutive clean sheet. In a quiet first half, the visitors could have taken an early lead when Paul Gallagher sent a corner into the box which Joe Garner latched onto, but Grant Hall cleared. Sandro almost gave QPR the lead when he rifled in a long-range shot which went just over the bar, before Junior Hoilett teed up Charlie Austin, but his effort went wide. Preston could have gone in at the break ahead when Gallagher again set up Garner, but his volleyed effort flew over. After the break, QPR applied early pressure and were almost rewarded when Austin laid the ball onto Hoilett, but his scuffed shot was scooped up by Jordan Pickford. North End broke back and, after Hall's headed clearance, the ball fell to Adam Reach who fired wide before Wright almost sealed it with a header from Gallager's looping ball.

I thought we started the match at a lot better tempo & for thirty minutes we were more than reasonable. however, sfter that we deteriorated by the minute.
At that time we had complete control of the midfield through Sandro & Faurlin. Ale was easily the bast player on the pitch come half time, but we never looked as though we would get close to scoring. Preston nearly did near the end, but green redeemed himself with a very good save. This followed Green needlessly booting the ball into the crowd when he could have taken one step backwards & caught the ball!
I didn't really notice Henry at right back. That is a good sign & means he didn't make any real mistake. IMO three players tried today but achieved very little or nothing. These were our three most "valued" men - Phillips, Fer & Austin.

Agree with most of that Terry! Phillips again disappoints but not because of talent but fitness. He makes a run then looks absolutely knackered his recovery is terrible. Needs to work heavily on his stamina. Fer was pretty much anonymous today but after returning from injury maybe still needs a bit of time! Same with Austin lacked that sharpness that a striker needs and with a couple more games under his belt after injury should be much better! Faulin had a decent game but for me Hall was outstanding and could turn out to be a real find!

Did not go today, so cannot say How we played. But we have gone from leaking goals by the shed load to 3 clean sheets in 5 and only two conceded in the other 2(though losses) too not being able to score.
Do not understand why Luongo and Chery are not being picked or at least one of them, seem to have fallen out of favour since Brentford.

The only difference yesterday was the crowd were patient for a while anyway. 1 shot on target against a well organised but (pub league) Preston was very poor. Few boos at the end.
Think I am right in saying this was the first time our fantastic four played together this season. Promised a bit up to the final 3rd but after that nothing. Another clean sheet, but have only conceded 2 goals in our last 5 games so that was being addressed anyway.
For those thinking ramsey was the only problem your in for a shock.

I was at the game and the posts by Clive and some others here sum it up quite well.
Especially good report by Clive W. Yes someone at last telling it like it is. We have not done very well this season because quite simply most of the players out on the pitch have not been very good. I have a particular bee in my bonnet about those 13 players we have signed this term but I wont keep on boring everyone by repeating my adverse opinion on the topic.
As I have said since the summer we do not have a top Championship squad. All that talk was deluded euphoria. We do though have some good players around and there is no chance of being relegated...never was... despite the numerous informative critical comment of Ramsey Ferdinand and the way the Club was being run by Tony Fernandes.

Yeah agree with this. Tempo was higher in the first half and we looked really dangerous at first, though weirdly, without creating any clear-cut chances. Hoilett showing flashes of the player we thought we'd signed, which was encouraging. Was really nice to have LR not being so toxic in terms of atmosphere, though it was massively fickle - plenty of incidents got minor grumbles which would have definitely provoked boos when Ramsey was in charge. Preston didn't offer much but were incredibly tight and well drilled - came for a draw and got one. Loads of time wasting. Thought the Austin yellow was baffling - from where I was sat, two players went in identically on a 50/50 but only Austin got punished.

Student of tactics, lol.
Robert Green also makes plea for fans to stick with Rs through rough patch
Robert Green has had four different voices telling him what to do at QPR in his three years with the club.
The keeper revealed the latest is a marked change from the man Hoops sacked last week.
The England international explained Chris Ramsey was a coach methodical in preparation as well as a student of tactics. Neil Warnock has simply urged Hoops to fix bayonets and come out screaming.
It didn’t entirely work after a 0-0 draw with Preston on Saturday (see gallery), but at least the keeper could point to a clean sheet.
“We’ve got a guy who’s charismatic,” Green said. “If you don’t know what Neil Warnock’s about, you haven’t been watching football for the last 20 years.
“Ever since I started playing, he has been a manager. Whatever limitations he’s had at a club, he’s always got everyone working as a team.
“He wanted us to go and express ourselves - particular the attacking players. After all, he keeps telling us he was a good winger.
“Chris was more about playing in a constructive manner; a student of tactics in that respect, you might say.
“But there’s more than one way to skin a cat. Neil’s had seven promotions, as I’m sure he’s told you. It worked in the past and it could work again.”
Best foot forward: The animated Neil Warnock For all that, Rs drew a blank for the third successive match and Green now hopes fans will stick by the side - as they did throughout Saturday’s draw.
He said: “We didn’t get a shot against Derby last week, and Ale’s free-kick on Saturday just about reached goal. We tailed off after an hour with some people shy of 90 minutes fitness.
“So we ask the fans to stick with us. We all love free-flowing attacking and scoring - but sometimes it’s just not there.
“We’re immensely disappointed for Chris, because that means you’re not doing very well.
“The season has gone from one of consolidation to one of promotion all of a sudden, and that’s a difficult thing after you change your mind
