The time we finally get a clean sheet but cant score ......grrrrr
Suppose we should celebrate the clean sheet, second in 12 games.
Sad thing 6 points from 21 points against mostly a bunch of clubs mid table or worse , Bolton, Blackburn , Fulham , Forest and Weds .... Dear oh dear.
If we cant get points against these what hope have we next 2 months Reading,Burnley,Boro,Brighton, Derby
Less than a point a game (last 7 games ) is relegation form.....
How many games do you give CR
After the next 9 games we could well be near the bottom three and our home games will be tougher next year .....
Something has to give.

Queens Park Rangers held at home by Sheffield Wednesday © Getty Images 0 5 1 6 By Mark Langshaw, Reporter Filed: Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 21:46 UK Last Updated: Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 21:56 UK Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday proved inseparable at Loftus Road as the sides played out a goalless draw in the Championship. Rangers made a bright start and almost had the lead inside the first minute when Sandro headed just wide from Daniel Tozser's in-swinging corner. The Owls had the opportunity to do some damage in the 18th minute when Fernando Forestieri raced clean through on goal, only to slip at the crucial moment and see his chance go begging. QPR were denied by the linesman's flag in the 20th minute when Jay Emmanuel-Thomas's strike was parried by Keiren Westwood, leaving Tjaronn Chery with an easy tap-in, but he was adjudged offside. Wednesday carved out another opportunity in the 30th minute when Barry Bannan left Nedum Onuoha for dead and let fly, putting his effort just over the bar. An injury to Modou Sougou forced almost 10 minutes of first-half stoppage time, during which Chery came within inches of firing QPR in front, but his effort flashed over and the sides went in goalless. Early into the second half and the game still looked evenly matched, but Matty Phillips almost fired QPR ahead with a rasping strike the flew over in the 58th minute. QPR staged another attack in the 66th minute, led by Chery. He picked out Phillips, whose initial shot was blocked before Tozser blazed a follow-up into the stand. Both sides has late chances to win the match as Westwood foiled Chery from point-blank range at one end of the park, before Bannan blew a late opportunity for Wednesday by firing over unopposed at the other. The result leaves the Owls one point better off than QPR in the table, lying in ninth place on 17 points. Read more at: tr.im/AyQZ2

Last season, draws at home, especially Chelsea, might have kept us up. Now, we have to guard against slipping down a division. Harr. is right.

Chris Ramsey defended his decision to replace lone striker Jay Emmanuel-Thomas with Leroy Fer during the second half of QPR’s 0-0 draw at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
The under-pressure head coach was again barracked by Rangers fans, many of whom chanted “You don’t know what you’re doing” as the substitution was made.
Emmanuel-Thomas, whose fitness has been an issue during his career, has been playing in the absence of injured forwards Charlie Austin and Jamie Mackie.
“Jay is obviously getting back into it and he lasted as long as I thought he would,” said Ramsey, who left striker Sebastian Polter out of the squad.
“We brought on a Dutch international, not a youngster but a proven player.
QPR midfielder Leroy Fer Fer was asked to play up front after coming on “No player wants to be taken off. But Jay did well when he was on, he played his part and Leroy did well when he came on as well.”
Ramsey, whose team have won only one of their last seven matches. said he accepted the criticism being aimed at him.
“It doesn’t help me, but at the end of the day that’s part of being sat in this chair,” Ramsey said.
“Unfortunately, in this game one week you know what you’re doing and the next week you don’t. (ummmmmmmm)
“The fans are entitled to their opinion. They’ve come here on a Tuesday night and are disappointed not to get the three points.
“I can assure them we are trying our best to make them happy. Sometimes we will fall short of the mark.
“I’m obviously disappointed we didn’t get the win. But I am pleased with the clean sheet as we haven’t had many of those this season.”

Half full - Clean sheet at last, defence without Perch finally does its job
Half empty - Can't score without Charlie. Have a team that on paper should be winning most games in this league but isn't so it's the coach's fault
You pays your money and takes your pick!

Would have bitten your hand off at 7pm if you'd have offered me a clean sheet tonight, so I'll take that and run with it all day long.
Its a step in the right direction anyway.

Whilst a clean sheet is really welcome. A point at home to another mid table team will get you knowhere in this League. 6 Points from 7 games gives you 39 points at the end of the season. Thats before you take into account we have far far tougher games coming up. 6 games with one win and then we get a clean sheet and thats acceptable, really

Who went last night?
Let's get real.
Wednesday were appalling. They could have played all night, Green could have taken a shower and they STILL wouldn't have scored.
There's statistics, 'great we didn't let one' but had we played a half decent we'd not be 'celebrating' this morning

That's now one win in the last seven and I would say only two decent performances over 90 minutes all season.
....and yet some people including a hyped up QPR Management keep insisting we have a "top squad" and have made great new signings. I simply don't get it. Great new signings my ars*!
Leaving aside Chery and Luongo(both not the greatest thing since sliced bread y'know) the remainder of those 13 newcomers we have put on the books this season represent various levels of mediocrity. Furthermore despite Ramsey's shortcomings this is not purely a case of Lions led by donkeys. There are no lions(or very few) out on the pitch to lead.
Anyhow we can take consolation from the certainty that we will not get relegated. There is too much dross in this league for anything like that to happen.

I think - especially with incompetence from the top and turmoil, we certainly could go down. Think back just 5 years for example, when QPR were plummeting down, due in no small part to club turmoil and constant change - till Warnock arrived and stabilized our plunge

No right back after bringing in 2 dinosaur fullbacks now Perch not up to the task & dropped. Very embarrassing for Ramsey Where's the new philosophy sold to fans over the summer of playing youth ! NA .. Opps loaned out to other clubs 4-2-3-1 constant tinkering of DM and center back positions, changes every game & side showing signs of over-coaching by Ramsey. Not able to play a different system of play and making poor sub choices by at least having a reserve striker on the bench.
Last Sat Rams had 6 starting players on field from last season with another 1 one bench, last night 5 from last season, as Kerrins pointed out 13 of his new players aren't worth a shit in this league and can't even make his bench. Bringing in retired Warnock as a way to quieten fans down is not going to save his job, Les in background bringing in all his buddies with andy ya na wat imean Impey as latest recruit into the cashcow of qpr. All bollocks sold to fans, new era, exciting football, youth being played...all rubbish blah blah
Ramsey Out

My thoughts on last night’s match, for what they are worth.
As the clean sheet indicated, our defence was more solid than it has been for a while. Sandro offered far better protection than Henry has been recently, although I was half-expecting him to be sent off as the game progressed after collecting an early yellow card.
The forced return of Hill was probably a bigger factor. He guided the rest of the defence through the match admirably, something which Onouha has abjectly failed to do all season, rarely got beaten in the air and produced a fantastic clearing header in the second half from a very dangerous cross which would have resulted in us conceding a goal on any other day this season. He and Hall, who looked pretty solid, could form a decent partnership; I hope that they are given a chance to do so.
Poor old Ned is not a right back. His natural instinct is always to drift in field and has “limited” ability moving forwards with the ball. Ramsey has got Green looking to quickly throw the ball forwards to either of the full backs but Onouha is not up to that role. His confidence is shot, he has to be rested for his own good. I assume that we can’t recall Harriman from his loan, but he’d be a marked improvement. Konchesky continues to look ok.
Toszer produced his usual curate’s egg. A few excellent raking passes, some terrible. He has to make himself available more often for the ball, something that Ale Faurlin, my preference for that position, always does. The link between him and the front four doesn’t look right either. I can only assume that Ramsey is giving Toszer a run in the team to see how he settles in.
It was great to see Luongo back in the team. He added verve to our play, was very comfortable on the ball, linked well with Chery in particular and also stole the ball back on a number of occasions. Chery always shows flashes of genius, his technique in volleying a deep cross was fantastic and pulled of a decent save from Westwood. Phillips showed more appetite for the match than normal, he even won a few headers, but still lacks an end product.
JET is looking far better than I expected, he worked hard again, combined well with the midfield, but rarely threatened. As we are playing a 4-2-3-1 formation, shouldn’t the lone striker remain central more often? He made his way out wide far too often for my liking leaving. I had no problem with Fer replacing JET; when Austin first got injured I was advocating Fer being played in that role. Clearly a section of the home crowd disagreed with me, but I think had Ramsey brought him on for Luongo, Phillips or Chery he’d have been met with the same barracking, and had he not brought him on been slaughtered for that too. Faurlin for Toszer or Doughty for Sandro would probably be the only changes that he’d not get too much criticism for.
With Toszer not showing often enough for the ball, it was regularly left to Hill or Hall to pump the ball forwards, especially when the crowd started to get on their backs for passing among themselves. It rarely worked. On the plus side, I felt that we did pressurised Wednesday’s possession better than in recent weeks, Luongo’s energy probably the catalyst for this, and it forced Wednesday into giving the ball away on a number of times.
I think that if we can address these issues, i.e. Toszer/Faurlin, right back, striker staying more central, and if Sandro can get a little fitter (and stay injury free) and if we can attack a little less frantically at times, we will be a competitive Championship team. Of course the goal posts have moved.

Of course the goal posts have moved. Yeah, that's pretty much how I saw it Roller. Only I would have taken off Tozser, moved Luongo next to Sandro so he could have taken the pass of the centre backs and bought the ball forward, making sure Sandro stayed back to protect the defence if we gave the ball away, whilst JET moved over up top and bought on Fer to play down the middle and gone for the three points. Apart from the crowd, Ramsey seems to be his own worst enemy at the moment with some of his decisions which he's struggling to justify after the fact at the moment. I really don't want to change manager again. I really believe that we need to sort the club out for a few years before trying to go back up in order of giving us a chance of staying in the Premiership and therefore servicing the debt in proper fashion, but as you say the goalposts have moved and Ramsey is beginning to look like he's drowning not waving.

Absolutely dreadful , only a clean sheet because Wednesday were woeful up front as well . We shoulda sold Phillips when WBA wanted him , has been absolutely dire the majority of his QPR career apart from a couple of months last season , doesn't look interested , as for Toszer , I can't believe that Watford supporters rated him or the other guy . The fact is Ramsey surely has to go now , fear we will get turned over Saturday and then Brentford on sky if he's still in charge .

If we dont win Saturday our points might dry up like a jellyfish in the desert.
Only 6 points from 7 games of late , after MK Dons , how many of those will we win
Brentford A , Derby A , Preston H, Boro A , Leeds H, Reading A , Burnley H , Brighton H

Florida R. Thank you so much mate. You are the only person who has wholeheartedly supported my views on all those mediocre/dross/ordinary 13 new signings that I have been banging on about since the late summer. OK everyone we know the FFP reasons behind it etc etc..but that does not change the bottom line. At last I am no longer a lone voice in the wilderness
