Australia still 61. Maybe our 5-0 victory tonight in Perth over football powerhouse Bangladesh (173rd!) will move us up the order

Report on the big game from our Offie MASSIMO LUONGO HELPS AUSTRALIA TO COMFORTABLE WINPUBLISHED 15:09 3rd September 2015 by @qprfc QPR midfielder sees off Bangladesh in 5-0 win … Massimo Luongo stared in Australia’s 5-0 win Midfielder played the full 90 minutes for the Aussie’s in Perth Australia head to Tajikistan next week MASSIMO Luongo was in fine form for Australia as they sealed a 5-0 FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier win against Bangladesh. The QPR midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Australia in Perth as the Socceroos ran out comfortable winners. Luongo was in the thick of the action throughout, setting up Australia’s opening goal after just six minutes. The R’s number 21 also went close to scoring on a number of occasions himself and he was delighted to record a win at full-time. “We approached it the same as any other team and I think we made it as easy as it was,” said Luongo. “I linked up well with Aaron Mooy. We've never played together before but we just clicked and it fit. “The crowd was right behind us and I think we put on a good show for them.” Luongo now heads to Tajikistan on Tuesday for their second qualifier. Australia top Group B after two matches. Read more at www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/massimo-luongo-australia-bangladesh-international-2668031.aspx#WxuFrhLyduf6gLr0.99

The FIFA rankings baffle me Absolutely. How England has been rated so highly in the past when we've been so abysmal was beyond a joke.

The FIFA rankings baffle me Absolutely. How England has been rated so highly in the past when we've been so abysmal was beyond a joke. I was thinking more about the Italy, Spain and France absence that Kilburn pointed out. I guess the calculation must be stacked towards the recent qualification games but I am not interested enough to go and look it up.
