My mine arrived in the post this morning.
Lovely note from TF thanking me for my loyalty and appreciating my support. It really touched me.
OK….a season ticket and a fixture list is what turned up.
A little 'thank you and welcome' letter wouldn't have gone amiss here. It's not rocket science. We were awful last season yet we've paid upfront for what could also be a difficult season. How difficult is it to say 'thanks for your support……and mean it?'

I think the point I was making kilburn was that the season tickets turned up with no covering lettering. I found that strange.
Perhaps you do sit next to me, there's a man and a boy to my left!

How difficult is it to say 'thanks for your support……and mean it?' Haven't seen mine yet. My first...first ever season ticket. Following the last 4 roller coaster years, when I carefully chose which games to see, I decided, against the advice of my best friends (Arsenal fans) to treat myself to a season ticket to see my beloved QPR. I persuaded myself that I would attend the home games and come away feeling uplifted after seeing my team score goals, win games and not struggle week in week out. So there it is. I purchased a season ticket and am excited about seeing my team. Starting tomorrow I will see my first game of the season. QPR since 1968

Fireside? Does that mean we are frequenting the Addie a week on Saturday?
Rose of Denmark this Saturday anyone?

Ay up lads. Not been on here since I was congratulating you on the PO win. Bit of a disappointing season all around for both clubs last time and here we go again. I don't think I could stand another trip to Wembley so I'm hoping Derby do it right and go up top 2 this time - and i think we've got a good chance of doing it.
I must admit I've lost track of your squad a bit, a few players I don't know have come in and a big turnover...are you confident then?
All the best for the season. And sorry to hear the unfortunate news about Stan Bowles health. Legend.

Hi Chell I think Derby and Middlesbrough will be top 2. We have changed 80% of our squad, some of whom were unknown to us before they signed. Even if we have found great players its a game of roulette to see if they will gel. There are some optimists on this board but I say mid table at best

And sorry to hear the unfortunate news about Stan Bowles health. Legend. I had mixed feelings about Clement going to Derby - had wanted him at QPR, but also thought Ramsey deserved a shot. Don't think we'll be in contention for a top 2 place, but possibly an outside chance of a play-off place. We've offloaded some dead wood and a parasites and seem to have brought in the 'right sort'. Time will tell how well they play, whether they turn up week after week and how Ramsey will do given a squad of his choosing and instilling his own tactics and methods. I can empathise with your pain at losing the PO final, having been there when we lost to Cardiff in the League 1 final. But it's far and away the best way to get promoted! The final against Derby was definitely a game of two halves... the full half and the empty half

Sure is the best way to go up - we got paid back against you for our highway robbery against WBA in 2007.
Anything can happen in the championship, but relegated clubs have been as random as anyone in recent years. You could just as well be L1 as Prem next year, but I reckon there's enough about you for a tilt at top 6 surely.
What's the thinking on the FFP shenanigans - in the courts isn't it?

Hi there chelloram. Who knows what is going to happen with FFP, if UEFA have relaxed their rules and teams in the Prem can now spend at will again, don't see where the football league have a leg to stand on. seems to me now a rule for the rich and one for the poor. As in the big clubs can spend spend spend, but lets punish the small clubs if they spend.
I don't think we will be as bad as some are fearing. As you say anything can happen in the Championship, who honestly would have said Bournemouth would go straight up, and Brentford would get to the play-offs, and Derby would finish outside them, Mad league!
Do you feel let down by the great quiffed one, or happy to see him go to Madness FC? As an outsider looking in, I feel he let you down last season and seemed void of ideas, Cant remember who you played, it was the back end of the season, I watched the game on the telly, and your players looked lost.
Are you coming down to our shed this season, as you Derby fans lovingly call Loftus Road HA HA.
