I hear FIFA have lifted FFP caps owing to a number of lawsuits!
Is this true and how will this effect the english leagues?. Good news is on the way i reckon.

FFP won't hold up in court in any form
Wouldn't be surprised at all to see QPR make an undisclosed contribution to grass roots football as punishment and that's it, probably a few million

Forest and Blackburn should sue the pants off the football league for their transfer embargo's.
I feel for both clubs. You know how strongly I disagree with FFP.

How about teams like Arsenal that have run a tight ship down years, built the satdium etc and are completely self funding?. What about them? They set their stall out years ago. Never over spending and building their turnover and facilities. All this, with a view that in a few years they would be top of the pile. Losses were to be limited and the Man Citys of the world would be restricted. What a slap in the face.

In the current football climate if you want to go about running a club like that you need to accept other teams will do things different. It's not as if Arsenal couldn't have thrown money at it too, could have easily found some rich Arab backing years back

Anyway still remains to be seen what happens in the courts.

Whatever happens with FFP there will be a lawsuit.
Just remains to see how many will be clubs challenging the rules and how many will be clubs seeking compensation if the rules challenged to the point that they are repealed.
Forest, Blackburn, Leeds, Man City, PSG, Barcelona will be unperturbed if the rules are challenged and QPR are under punished? Not likely in my opinion.

FFP
So good they scrapped the original version. The european version got thrown out by the courts too.
The issue with FFP is that it was designed to stop clubs like Blackburn getting a piece of the pie that the super elite clubs have had to themselves for years.
Clubs should spend responsibly but if a rich tycoon wants to spend his fortune on his favourite football club then why shouldn't he be allowed to do so? You shouldn't tax ambition.

More fool them, it got them nowhere.

So how far back is FFP going to go???
As far back as when Chelsea we're getting small crowds and had Sh*te players and a Sh*te ground???
No thought not!!!!
They would be nothing without Abramovich's money which runs into nearly a Billion pound over money earned through club.
One rule for one and all that!!!

You must be talking about the late 70's to late 90's!! They improved through the late 90's and started to improve the ground under Matthew Harding but it was only the take over by Abramovich in June 2003 that has got them to where they are now along with the Billion pound he has spent!!!
