When the inevitable happens ?
Would you be happy with something like.
Polter Gray / Lambert JET. Grego- Cox
As a forward unit.
Doesnt look to bad to me, when we have had Helguson, Hulse and Bothroyd.
Added with the fact we will have made 10 million on Charlie.
I know Lamberts no youngster, no question he can score goals in the Championship.
We wont be spending 8-10 millions on Blackburns two forwards or others, we know Gray and Lambert will be about 3 / 3.5 Million and would both be fine with me.

"IF" Austin leaves!!!
Not guaranteed to leave. Is supposedly very happy at QPR and just bought big house out Ascot way. His family is based in the South so can't see him entertaining anything up North.
My worry would be Southampton!!!

Mackie too. Although usually class him as a winger rather than Out and out striker.
I think its only a matter of time before Charlie trundles off to West Ham, Southampton or Newcastle.

Im surprised he has not gone yet. 15million for a striker who scored 18 goals for a relegated team, is a snip. Maybe he will stay, we don't have to sell

Maybe he will stay, we don't have to sell If he didnt sign a new contract Kilburn, couldnt he walk away for free next summer. If we got promoted he might stay but if we didnt and thats a big probable, then we lose 15 Million? Or lose 4 Million we paid for him.

I hear you harr Charlie owes us nothing and his transfer fee has been paid many times over. Personally i think he should be plying his trade in the prem.

I certainly wouldnt want to hold him back . Make the £10 million profit sell him to Bournemouth for 15 Million. Charlie can go and live with his parents for a year, keep his new house in Berkshire and once Bournemouth are relegated he can come back home
