I was sort of bunching the three together Paul. Agree Fer is the one that we should get back a fee fairly close to what we paid or even same but other two I see really big hits. If someone came in for a big offer for Caulker, let him go. Harry might tell everyone there terrific geezers, might sell them to Bournemouth

From talksport Sandro begs for information over QPR futureBy talkSPORT (@talksport) | Friday, July 10, 2015 Sandro begs for information over QPR future QPR's languishing midfielder Sandro has begged for someone to explain his future to him. The former Spurs man was pulled out of the Rangers squad that was losing the relegation fight last season after a call from the British Home Office. It appears the Brazilian did not have the correct paperwork to be working in the UK at the time. Chris Ramsey's side jetted off to Italy on Thursday to begin their pre-season tour with Sandro not part of the squad. And he took to Twitter to vent his frustration at the embarrassing situation. He wrote: "Can someone let me know about my situation please !!!!!". Read more at talksport.com/football/sandro-begs-information-over-qpr-future-150710155938#cc0uRxZe3SOwxKj1.99

Silly question probably, but what rule prevents him from training in Italy with the squad?
It looks like the thing the club F***ed up on was related to the United Kingdom only, so he could have gone to Italy, if the club wanted him there.

What happens if he loses? I presume QPR still "Own" him and can sell him?
Are we liable to pay him wages?

Yes we are liable to pay his wages whilst under contract to the club. It is of no fault of his that his services have had to be withdrawn. the best we can hope for is a share being paid by whoever we loan him to.
PATHETIC.

Also fail to see how we can sell him if we lose the appeal. would we not be selling an illegal immigrant?

Thinking about it some more. If we lose the appeal then his contract must be worthless. He would have no legal right to work in the UK, if he has no legal status then the UK government won't be able to tax his salary. The club would also not be able to pay his N.I contributions as this would be illegal as well, as he will be deemed an illegal immigrant.
I think we will just have to release him from his contract if we lose the appeal. thus chucking a few million down the drain with the other countless millions down the drain.

So possibly the 9 million gained on Sterling, singly thrown down the drain in one full swoop on Sandro.
That would be hard to take, specially after the Ale Faurlin cock up and other issues.

Bloody hell. Should never have happened in the first place but glad the Home Office palaver isn't rolling on much longer. Agree, let's shift him off the wage bill, isn't fit for more than 5 minutes at a time.

Interesting - but knowing how some of these rules work (and depending what actually happened before) his new work permit could be declined if it is found he breached the previous one by "working" after it had expired. Wait and see time I think! If it doesn't get renewed he has to stay in Brazil. There's a shame, eh. Least it means we can sign other non EU players now though. I really couldn't care less about Sandra.

Well, good that he wants to be back with us... let's hope his work permit application goes through OK.
Would be good to get him back, either as a player (if he stays fit), or as a saleable asset.

From footballtradedirectory www.footballtradedirectory.com/news/2015/july/queens-park-rangers-have-confirmed-that-their.html? Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that their sponsorship license for Brazilian midfielder Sandro has been reinstatedThe Evening Standard has reported that Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that their sponsorship license for Brazilian midfielder Sandro has been reinstated with immediate effect. The club were advised not to play the 26-year-old, who signed for the west Londoners from Tottenham last summer, in May after a problem with his residency visa was flagged up by authorities. As a result, the Rangers midfielder was forced to sit out the final three games of last season as Chris Ramsey's side suffered relegation from the Premier League to the second tier. However, the problem has now been resolved and Sandro will soon be free to feature for the Loftus Road outfit. "QPR can confirm that the club's sponsorship licence has been reinstated with immediate effect," read a statement on the club's official website. "The club has resolved the matter with the Home Office and Sandro will reapply for a new work permit once clearance has been given by the football authorities." Sandro struggled for injury last season and made a total of just 17 top flight appearances for the Hoops, who were unable to avoid slipping back into the championship. The midfielder's imminent return will be welcomed as the club attempt to achieve promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

From the Daily Mail Sandro trains with Brazil side Internacional as QPR star awaits work permit clearanceSandro made 18 Premier League appearances for QPR last season Brazilian in limbo after Home Office declared he did not have a work permit 26-year-old cannot play in England again until he has a working visa By SIMON JONES FOR MAILONLINE PUBLISHED: 09:03 EST, 5 August 2015 | UPDATED: 09:30 EST, 5 August 2015 QPR midfielder Sandro is training at Internacional as he awaits clearance on work permit issues. The 26-year-old Brazilian has been left in limbo after the Home Office declared he did not have a work permit last season and the club were told to stop selecting him. He went on holiday to Brazil but, following a Home Office investigation, Rangers’ sponsor licence, which allows clubs to apply for visas for players from non-EU countries, was suspended. Sandro (centre left) poses for a picture with Internacional staff on Tuesday following a training session However, last month the Championship outfit confirmed that they remain confident of resolving the issue. In a statement, the club said: 'QPR can confirm that the club's sponsorship licence has been reinstated with immediate effect. 'The club has resolved the matter with the Home Office and Sandro will reapply for a new work permit once clearance has been given by the football authorities.' QPR signed Sandro from Tottenham last summer for £10m as the midfielder made 18 Premier League appearances for the west London outfit. Could the Football League be blocking this because of FFP or something? it should not be taking this long to get clearance or maybe the club are playing it close to the chest until something is agreed. We will see Without a fundamental decision on FFP I don't think they'd be able to formally block anything on that basis.
