Seems to be a no-go now. Di Marzio the Italian market expert has said it's all a load of rubbish made up by the British press and Morrison actually turned us and several other teams down. Apparently Ravel actually wants to repay the faith Lazio have shown in him

Same here, Nomar. Seems a lot like Taarabt, without the magical time in the Championship.

I saw him leaving Loftus Road once, a small lad was looking for autographs and went up to him, he completely ignored him and dived in a big blacked out 4x4.
It's a bad reason I know but for that reason I'd say he is not the kind of player we want at QPR.

Shocking if true. We have just got rid of one egotistical show pony and they are looking at getting another.
Looks like this could be another Ferdinand lead weight.

And of course this is the kind of tweet Ravel sends to his current employers, if they are still his employers ?

No idea how this one will play out, just reporting what McIntyre has said about the reports that his representatives have been in talks with the club.
We'll know for sure soon enough.

Well I don't really think we should take anything anyone says as gospel, especially McIntyre who hasn't had a great hit rate recently in terms of transfer news. Also Ravel is going on holiday today so won't know for a while

Dont be sorry Bowles. He has unquestionable talent as did Adel . Just that Harry and Ramsey couldnt get the best out of Adel.
Ravel did brilliantly for us last time in the Championship but he comes with some baggage. Some supporters from various Clubs will say we havnt learnt anything if we signed him.
I love to watch him on the football pitch but hope he keeps his head down now

IMO, he would be a shocking signing if it happens.
He was kicked out of two clubs last season (West Ham & Cardiff) for his attitude and or behavior, but apparently he is what we need?
When it all goes his way, he is happy, but a hand grenade goes of in his head, if he is not allowed to do something he wants. As Harr said, Ravel (Adel Mk 2) is a talented young man with a boat load of baggage.
I read that polished press release from the club about the fans forum three weeks ago and can someone show me, where it says we need a player with his reputation to corrupt the young hungry players we are looking to sign?

Looks like they view him as a calculated risk Paul....Perhaps CR and LF see themselves as possible role models for the likes of Morrison...per my comments on the previous page of this thread!

Ravel has been through a boat-load of sh*t in the last couple of years.
Big Sam wanted him out of West Ham and I'm not sure what went on at Cardiff, but his prosecution can't have helped his frame of mind.
But I don't think we had any particular trouble with him?
So he's older - and hopefully wiser than last time round. Chris and Les will surely relate to him better than Allardyce ever could.
The whole club will be extremely wary not to repeat the Adel prima donna fiasco.
So, if there is any truth in these growing rumours and we do want to sign him, I'd be confident that the club will have done all they can to assure themselves Ravel has grown up a bit, and I'd welcome him as a young player who can make a difference.

If it happens, I go along with that, just as long as its an initial 12 month contract, with options to further years and not a three or four your deal, so we are stuck with the live hand grenade, if it goes off.

Interesting observation from Barton.....he certainly likes his profound analogies! joey7bartonofficial One evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, ‘My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.’ The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: ‘Which wolf wins?’ The old Cherokee simply replied, ‘The one you feed.’ Hope you get to read this Ravel!!

Harry Redknapp raves about Ravel Morrison
Subhankar Mondal @subhankarjourno 38 minutes ago
Former Southampton and Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp speaks highly of ex-Manchester United and West Ham United prospect Ravel Morrison.
Former Southampton and West Ham United manager Harry Redknapp has been singing the praises of Ravel Morrison on social networking site Twitter.
Redknapp worked with Morrison for a short period of time last year, when the midfielder played for Queens Park Rangers on loan from Premier League outfit West Ham United.
"Anyone looking for a top player this summer should look at Ravel Morrison. Top talent, decent lad, not hard to manage. Can play for England"
"Ravel was good in training and had a great attitude when I worked with him. Glides when he has the ball, just hope he puts it all together"
Morrison has been linked with Redknapp’s former club QPR this summer, despite him having signed a pre-contract agreement with Italian outfit Lazio.
According to The Mirror, talks regarding the move of the former England Under-21 international to Loftus Road are at an advanced stage.
The former Manchester United and West Ham midfielder is reportedly homesick and wants to return to England.
Morrison was released by Premier League giants United in 2012, and West Ham terminated his contract in the middle of the 2014-15 campaign.
The midfielder played on loan for Birmingham City, QPR and Cardiff City, but he failed to really gel at those clubs despite showing his promise on occasions.
