I won't hear a bad word said about Harry. Primarily because I'm mutt and jeff!! But Harry did us a real favour resigning so I thank him for that.

Didn't watch it, but I am sure the same garbage he always spewed while here. For his own sake, I think he should walk away from managing and just work in a front office somewhere.

Gave it a listen... good grief it's like some old codger in a retirement home reminiscing about his glory days... Spurs, Spurs.. Spurs...
QPR was nothing more than a meal ticket for him, he was a broken man not getting the England job and then being sacked by Spurs.
He was just going through the motions with us and bottled it when it counted, didn't have the stomach for the fight and more concerned about how 2 relegations in 3 years would look on his CV.

Didn't listen to it, but I agree with what you said. At least he walked away, but I think that was more about saving himself, rather than the club. I have a feeling Les knew that not bringing in players in the transfer window would lead to this, and it was also the right move because this club didn't need to spend more money than it already did in the summer.

I listened to 45 minutes of it on the way home. He talked a fair bit about QPR and nothing I heard suggested he was using it as a meal ticket.

OK, I have to admit fabs that I lost the will to live after about 20 minutes of Spurs and Gareth Bale and switched off. The meal ticket thing is just my view on why he took the QPR job, he seemed to have absolutely no connection with any aspect of the club, before, during or since - in fact his voice is so noticeably lighter in this interview, his relief to be out of it all is palpable. There's a video of the players celebrating in the dressing room after the play-off semi-final win over Wigan. Understandably, the players were ecstatic. Harry looked almost glum, didn't seem to get involved at all, sitting almost forlornly on one of the changing room benches seemingly completely put of it. He didn't get involved with the players, nor they with him. That kind of did it for me.

Whatever you thought of the show, Redknapp winning games for us as a Premiership Manager was embarrassing and appalling and I for one am happy we have a slim chance of staying up now he's gone. Even the biggest Redknapp admirer would have to say that probably wasn't never going to happen at QPR now if he was still around .

Even the biggest Redknapp admirer would have to say that probably wasn't never going to happen at QPR now if he was still around . I wasn't anti Redknapp but even I got fed up of the constant excuses after every away loss. Redknapp did a lot of good here but I think his heart wasn't in it at the end and that was why I really couldn't see us getting out of trouble if he stayed. I think Ramsey is a breath of fresh air, a total contrast to what we have had before and exactly what we need to have a chance of survival. In CR we have someone honest and hardworking who wants to be here and whose enthusiasm will rub off on the players. QPR has been crying out for that and if Redknapp hadn't walked away when he did we'd still be stuck in his rut of negativity that was only, in my opinion, sending us down.

I dont think so, he did not come here with a reputation or dellusions of false greatness. I think QPR fans might warm to him like they did with Ollie.... all those managerial appointments so long ago.

That Knee really causing problems now

That Knee really causing problems now If I genuinely believed it was his knee that led to him walking out on QPR then I guess I'd be mildly annoyed. But I don't, so its all meh as far as I'm concerned. Harry did us a a favour by upping sticks as TF wouldn't have sacked him, so its all good. I imagine you probably feel similar, Harr. Doubt any QPR fans fell for the 'dodgy knee' routine.

Not that I believe all the dodgy knees stuff but I played golf when I could barely walk 10 yards. They're called golf buggies. Just saying like.

He was getting pushed out by Les anyway but really just would liked for him to have come out with things werent going to plan and he needed to let someone have a go to try keep us up. He didnt really need to bring that Knee into it and probably regrets saying it .

Knee leave sounds a bit more mature than gardening leave.
