It's been obvious all season that some players aren't fit, which is the absolute minimum that we should expect.

We had problems right at the start of the season, Harry blaming the friendlies that were arranged etc. Who actually arranges the friendlies ? It's probably only a couple of players he's talking about but wouldn't expect those included in the comments to be Zarate or Taarabt as he had already discussed these in depth.
Onouha hadn't looked his sharpest this year, thought he would do a little better.

Thought they were supposed to have worked their socks off in the games, were a triffic bunch of lads, then when the Unfit Zarate comes on and starts running around like a whippet it is obvious to me that nothing our recently departed manager said was believeable,

Doesn't Beard organise the friendlies?

Doesn't Beard organise the friendlies? Whoever it was, they weren't good enough and the conditioning of the players weren't good enough either. Playing catch up with fitness now for the last 6 months, absolutely ridiculous . If we had hungry fit players may have stood a chance this season Really hard to see that we are learning apart from starting to get some younger players in now, which is great and getting Ferdinand and Ramsey in. Still lots of schoolboy errors being made at our Club though, fitness been poor, tactics been poor, team formations, fallouts/ unsettled players maybe goes on at every club and we just don't hear about it, who knows?

Although Zarate looked good in that match, hopefully he can start today and bring Zamora in as a sub if he can't do the whole match. Also, the title of the article almost makes it seem like he was more upset about them giving up the game to the Saints than fitness. I really think fitness lies on the coaching and it shows that the previous coaches weren't doing their job and letting players get lazy. At this point, it's too late to blame it on the pre-season friendlies.

All brushed under the carpet how unfit some of the players have been. The coaches have all gone but one, didn't see any of them say sorry we failed we didn't do enough and the players are unfit but may have missed it . All I heard is it was difficult getting players in the window and if Tim comes in im sure QPR will stay up.

All I heard is it was difficult getting players in the window and if Tim comes in im sure QPR will stay up. Harry just got all of his friends jobs and alienated the others. In my opinion, this is Ramsey just saying they had it all wrong without actually calling out Harry and friends. This team has more than enough talent to stay up, it just wasn't properly utilized, players constantly played out of position and others not even used. Even Tony realized that and it's why he cut him off in the window. Maybe it was suggested by Les. Either way, time to see what Ramsey can do and if anyone can fix this mess. Otherwise, they will just have to hit the reset button in the Championship next season. Probably have to do the same even if they stay up, but with a little more money to spend.
