If the inevitable happens tommorow and we sign Adebayor what does it tell us?
Do Tony and other board members really think we should bringing these type of players to our Club even on loan?
Its absolutely farcical, we already have Zarate .
Certain things about our Club are still ludicrous . Tony and his "we will learn " speeches and tweets will make him look like a clown if we sign him .
Harry wants Striker after striker after striker, it's like a schoolboy . Charlie, Bobby, Vargas (yes the winger who's a striker for an International team, one that beat England) and Zarate and yet he wants more.
Its obvious where are problems are the defence that leaks like a drainpipe.

Tony will tell anyone who is prepared to listen, and there still many who are, that we did not pay a fee for 'bayor, and that we are not paying his full wages.
But those of us who have called Tony and his methods into question are growing in number, and what was it Maggie said all those years ago about the winter of our discontent, well chaps and chapesses, it is coming, and unless those responsible for running the circus that is Queen's Park Rangers come to their senses and very very soon, it is all going to end in tears.

It will be a loan deal for a proven premier league goalscorer. This move could well keep us up. That is all that matters full stop.
I read many negative posts around the possible signing of defoe as well . Scored yesterday and will get a few more before the end of the season.

Its obvious where are problems are the defence that leaks like a drainpipe. I remember a poster called Harlow who was a much happier chap. He used to tell me off for posting things like that! What does it tell us, well, it continues the short-term, quick, expensive fix policy of buying players Uncle Tony and Phil have heard of and was decent in the Premiership a few years back, instead of relying on a decent scouting network that they said they were putting in place years ago. It makes a mockery of the buying the 'right sort' philosophy as Adebayor only plays for himself and is not a team player and shows that whole PR bullshit for what is was. We'd rather sell the 'right sort' for a loss. It shows that after 2 years of Redknapp we haven't moved on and are still desperate. If we sign him of course.............

Actually, considering the style of football we play, Adebayor is a good fit. Very direct, has pace and I guarantee he will score goals for us.
Only question is his temperament but I think the same can be said for Cisse a few years back and his goals played a huge part in keeping us up realistically.

Questions to consider
Who else out there can we get?
Will he do the job for us ?
How will he impact on the other players
How much are we paying for the loan? Loan fee + How much wages
As for the right sort/team building ...Lessons learned...Well...

Apologies Mark If I gave you a hard time Yes agree was much more positive back then . Kilburn / Rory he's a big name was a decent striker, I could call him lazy and arrogant . I wouldn't compare him with Defoe , Defoes twice the player, would have been a much better signing and would give 100 % Talk to Spurs fans and see what they about Adebayor over the last year or two. This year at Spurs in minutes (82+80+90+79+90+90+90+83+58+25 + 792 League minutes of play , plus Cups and Europe = 966 minutes for 2 goals , one assist, one of the goals against a pathetic QPR team at WHL . Two goals in a very good Spurs attacking team that scores bags of goals ,bit different to what it will be like at QPR specially away from home . Sorry don't feel me with confidence.Hasnt played much lately either ? Will add, take on board the Cisse comment Rory, yes that one did work agree.

What a waste of money. Why? Because a striker like this needs service and in Phillips, SWP and Hoilett, i just cannot see him getting it. Also Bartons corners are sad at best.

Another of Harry's old boys , probably get Lennon and Assou Ekotto thrown in as well as well as another few "good pros " just for the sake of it ! Desperate measures by an out of touch manager , surely we needed players a month ago not last day panic buys as per usual . Zarate ?? What was the actual point of that signing ?? Maybe Chris Samba is available also , "good lad , good pro " . But as Harry keeps telling us all "it's difficult " !!

Surely we should be looking at in form championship players instead of has beens , either of the Blackburn strikers , the Wolves winger , players like that who might actually give a toss !!!

They can get in who they want up front but until we put a stop to the defensive lapses that happen EVERY game, we are going down.

In form championship strikers come with £5m-£12m transfer fees so a massive no go and massively unrealistic of any Championship club to sell their best striker in January, especially if they were in a promotion battle.

Leicester Strengthening Palace Strengthening So far QPR one out Mutch , Two in Zarate - loan - , plus the youngster . Swp might be gone loan to brighton - which would be handy as his deal runs out Summer. Where's the 5 million gone from Mutch sale, where's the 10 million gone from Remy was going to spend on Borini 15 million in the bank towards FFP probably . Skint and with a poor Manager Maybe we should save some money and tell a coach or two to do one, trouble is that will cost Mutches fee.

We do need another striker, still without service and crosses its more debt money, and without a back four?. Why do they keep fooling themselves!
