i know a lot of peope were glad to see him go but i never had a preference either way, but what i will say is i bet he was glad to get his arse out of Qpr because as far as i am concerned i can only see this club going one way and that is down. I see Palarse surviving again, sadly i cannot say the same of us

From Clubcall Palace new boy always wanted move Crystal Palace Latest news update: 1 hour 35 minutes ago Jordan Mutch says Harry Redknapp's decision to quit QPR would have had no bearing on his move to Palace had it come earlier in January. The 23-year-old made the shock decision to leave Loftus Road in the transfer window and move across London to Selhurst Park, despite having only joined the R's from Cardiff six months earlier. Ex-QPR boss Redknapp sanctioned the decision to sell Mutch but just a day after the midfielder's £4million switch was completed the 67-year-old stepped down. Despite perhaps getting more first-team opportunities under a new manager at Loftus Road, Mutch claims he was always set on joining Palace once he knew of their interest. "Football is crazy," said Mutch, when asked whether he would have stayed at QPR had Redknapp gone earlier. "You never know what it going to happen. "But I still would have made the same decision. I'm delighted to be at Crystal Palace. This is a fresh start and this is a great opportunity. I'm delighted with how it is going under the new manager and I know he'll get me back to where I was at before."
