I only looked at a little bit of the Actual Fan Forum. But innovative to actually have the CEO rather than a glamour past player, speak and answer questions at the Fan Forum

Hmmm, I watched that. A few brief points.
It was a bit like watching one of our fan forums back in the day when everyone was welcome, there was none of this by invitation only and the ordinary fan could go along.
Two references to QPR made, both by Devo, the first was regarding a possible ground share when they (Brentford) leave Griffin Park whilst their new ground is built. Devo said they had spoken to a number of clubs, ours being one and we were happy to open discuss the possibility but he felt that in terms of our PR it wouldn't go down too well, if they were in the Premier and we were in a lower division. The second time he mentioned us was right at the end when asked of his best moment of the season and he mentioned that it was common knowledge of his association with the club down the road in Shepherds Bush and went on to give his views on how he felt when Brentford played Fulham etc etc...
Warburton, Weir and Mcparland appear to be doing a fine job down there with a very small budget backed by the CEO (Devo) and the board. It was a very seemed a very open forum all questions answered, some in great detail, all of it conducted in a very humble honest manner. A far cry to our own CEO introducing a panel and then disappearing swiftly out of camera shot.
Good luck to Brentford, but why we cannot find a place for Mark Devlin at our club I don't understand, especially considering his not only his long association with QPR but also his experience of working for a football club and at a very high level.

They are doing things the right way. They are controlling their spending, setting sensible targets and slowing building back the Club.
It is a shame we haven't done the same.
In 5 years we may be looking up to them?

Brentford are building nicely, and doing a lot of the things we used to BUT let's get one thing straight - their finances. They absolutely do not have a very small budget. They were losing £5million every year in League One, that will be even higher now in the Championship. Mathew Benham is bankrolling them and at some point will want his money back, they always do, either via a PL windfall or selling the club. He's also covering a huge shortfall in funding for their new stadium.
I'd suggest losing £5m a year in L1 is pretty comparable to losing £50m in the PL.
None of that changes how badly run QPR is.
