Thanks Mark and Kent - as I've said to others in PMs, it really has been a pleasure and a privilege to do this. Because the link is now at the end of the previous page, here's a link to the finished card - Gramps's CardAs mentioned before, I've had to edit some of the messages down, just to be able to fit them all in. I hope I've retained the essence of the originals. Am hoping to post the printed version to the family tomorrow. Ashdown, I have made the link work now. For some reason it wouldn't on my tablet. Hope you don't mind. - Andy

Ashdown well done. I didn,t know Gramps, personally, but being the same vintage, we did, have, on occasions, the odd personal comments. To me, Gramps, will be remembered, as the heart and soul of QPR. RIP Dear Friend.

Thanks for the kind comments all. Some have said they'd like a copy, so I've put up a high resolution version in my DropBox account. It's the final version (which contained a couple of very late contributions) and will print at A3, which is the size I sent to the Clifford family. If anyone wishes to download it print it out, I would recommend using high quality photographic paper, as the type is quite small and may fill in if printed on poorer quality paper and become less legible. The download link is here: www.dropbox.com/s/aycpsha7ibfq3sz/gramps-final-card-high-resolution.jpg?dl=0The Clifford family should receive the card tomorrow.

Firstly, wanted to say i am very sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Gramps. I have not been on the boards for ages, therefore i am still catching up on news. I am sure he will be looking down on us with glee, knowing the recent news of Redknapps departure. As for the card, it brought a tear to my eye, its the most thoughtful thing i have ever seen, such a lovely thing to do, well done. His family will be really touched. Lets stay in the premier for Gramps x

I was deeply saddened to hear of Gramps` passing. If only all football fans were as thoughtful, warm and generous as John. I exchanged some messages with him on here, about Alec Stock, and he was so civil and charming, that I really hoped to meet him one day. We have lost one of our finest, that`s for sure. Condolences and warm regards to his family. RIP Sir - your intelligent, civilised voice will be missed by many.
