Not sure if we will be in it but looking to start real early August 8 th , let's hope so .
Next season's Premier League campaign is set to kick off on August 8 – its earliest-ever start.
League chiefs have brought the date forward for two reasons – partly to help clubs who do not want another intense Christmas period and also to allow Roy Hodgson’s England squad enough time to prepare for the 2016 European Championships in France.
There is currently no date yet set for when the final league game of next season will be.
It means many top flight stars could see their summer holidays slashed as England play Slovenia on June 14, but some clubs leave for their summer tours at the start of July.
But Mirror Sport understands the decision to start the 2015/16 campaign early was taken some time before the recent festive break when the league met with club shareholders.
Since then Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal, West Ham’s Sam Allardyce and Southampton boss Ronald Koeman have been among the many bosses complaining about the mid-season fixture pile-up.
Next Christmas, the Premier League hope to have “more space between the fixtures.”
The organisation has been working hard to meet the needs of its member clubs but insists it can only begin planning fixtures after the FIFA international calendar and UEFA Champions League dates have been ascertained.
