Tomorrow afternoon (Sunday) Perth Glory are playing Central Coast Mariners away. That is on the other side of the continent in northern New South Wales (equivalent distance of London to Moscow). Nothing unusual about that. The Glory travel away every second week and the shortest distance they travel is to Adelaide is 1,400 miles (and a one and a half hour time difference at least, currently two and a half) by air. I'm not winging about that. It's part of what the Glory have to do to be in the A League. What I'm complaining about is the scheduling of the FFA Cup semi-final Perth Glory has against Bentleigh Greens in Melbourne (600 miles from where they play the Mariners). The the FFA in its wisdom has scheduled that semi-final on Tuesday. That's right two days after their away A League fixture! No chance to come home, no chance to recover. To add insult to injury the Glory's next A League game is on next Saturday so three games in six days! There is absolutely no way that the big A League clubs, Sydney FC or Melbourne Victory would have had to do the same. It reminds me of the way QPR are treated by the FA. Two rules; one for the big clubs and another for the smaller ones!

Perth will do what they did when Steve McMahon was in charge, they led the table for two months and still finished last. We're the Phoenix, the mighty Phoenix, we're not the Kingz or Knights.

No chance of a Glory collapse this season Jackie. We'll do the treble!

Despite all the efforts of the FFA to nobble Perth Glory, the mighty Glory not only won it's away game in the A League but tonight it beat the hard to beat Bentleigh Greens to progress to the FFA Cup final and to be on top of the A League too.
The treble is still on!
Come on Glory!!

I watched the game. There were two shitty things, the pitch was unbelievable bad with big square bumpy pathes everywhere and the referee was his usual pathetic self. Why is that guy allowed to do A League games? Perth were worth the win for sure but that ref handed out how many cards? Made Rob Stiles look weak.

Despite the best efforts of the FFA to nobble the Glory, Perth Glory won all three matches!
Come on Glory!

Wait till Delvoski does your game, you will lose unless it is against the Nix as he has made it his lifes mission to ensure the Nix never get anything positive from him. Cnut of the worst order.

You may have been up for it Jack, but the Nix weren't. Glory won and are still top of the A League.
While I'm on the A League, I see last year's Champions, Brisbane Roar have sacked their coach. Couldn't happen to a nicer club, not! Nice to see those cheating good for nothings getting done over. I'm loving this A League season!

We played so badly we made your average team look better than they were. Still enjoy it while you can, Victory and Sydney are coming after you. We got Melbourne City next Sunday at our place. Hopefully we can knock them over. I kinda feel sorry for Damien Duff, supplies some decent crosses and through balls and they get wasted.
I see the Roar have appointed the ex Ipswich Town midfielder as a temp manager.

Nice to see Nix thrash City Jack. No slowing down for the Glory though beat Sydney FC 2-1 in Sydney tonight. Walking in a Glory wonderland!

And we now beat Newcastle 3-1 So we have openned up an 8 point gap between us and Citeh. Well done on your away win. That showed that your team is up for a serious title campaign. Good on you. I'm flying up to the game in Auckland next Saturday against CCM. We are wearing a special "Hobbit" kit, no kidding.

From the ABC. Sound familiar? FFA want Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory (and Cheat FC alias Brisbane Roar and Adelaide United to a lessor extent) to be at the top of the A League. If they can't stop Perth Glory on the field they'll stop them off the field. Sucks www.abc.net.au/news/2014-12-19/perth-glory-admits-ffa-investigation-into-salary-cap-breach/5980524 Perth Glory confirms it is under investigation for salary cap breaches by Football Federation Australia By Clint Thomas Updated yesterday at 5:04pmFri 19 Dec 2014, 5:04pm PHOTO: Glory owner Tony Sage celebrates after a win. The club has confirmed it is being investigated over salary cap breaches. (Getty Images: Paul Kane) Perth Glory confirms it is under investigation by Football Federation Australia (FFA) for salary cap breaches. The A-League club has received correspondence from the FFA seeking clarification on a number of discrepancies arising from last season. The club said it had prepared a response to the FFA which addressed the questions raised by the FFA. Glory coach Kenny Lowe said he was confident the investigation would not affect the players ahead of Saturday night's home match against Central Coast. "It's sound," he said. "The boys will get out there and concentrate on football, that is what we always do. "Footballers are footballers, they focus on themselves a lot of the time, so I am sure they will do that this week and we will be ok." The Glory currently sits on top of the A-League ladder.

What Bollocks, the FFA want to investigate WSW and their retarded fans with flares and stuff. I've spoken to a few visiting fans Sharkey, even your Perth mates and they all say the same thing. Don't ever go to WSW wearing your colours, they are like the Leeds fans of the early 70's. Serbs, Cro-ats still fighting a civil war but in Sydney instead. Melbourne Victory can be just as bad with their mob too.
Your guys are there because they are playing well with a decent coach at last. But the way the FFA suck up to WSW and the Victory makes me wanna puke. The roar are where they are because they deserve to be, they're shit.

We are catching you after our 2-0 win in Sydney. Amazing the three teams below you all lost. We are now 4th. Next up is WSW at Westpac, it will be my and the Nix's 99 Home A League game including playoff games. 99 consecutive games anywhere in NZ.
