Could be interesting if they actually made it. Would their ground pass the criteria? I personally, hope they do.

They still seem to be going strong Andy , I think they have a bit of investment there too , be great if they could finish in top 6.

Norwich, Cardiff and Fulham proving just how hard this league is. Be interesting to see their debts next season and season after that.
More proof of what a great job harry done last season. We never had a team when we went down, the above 3 did.

After 3 wins in 21 games, Pearce was given a bit longer maybe by the last minute win at Derby
But Fulham 3 Forest 0 after 30 minutes , Forest Legend or not , with the investment they have chucked in, surely won't be long before gone ..
Results since mid Sept dddDLDLLLWWLDdDLLLW. 19 games 17 points before tonight and cup defeat to Rochdale and Spurs .. 3 wins in 21
Funny old game, they were top after 7 games, 6 wins and a draw.

The top of the Championship has just been blown wide open again, Middlesbro & Derby lost with Watford coming back from 2-0 down to be Leeds.
Relegation seems to be already decided, can't see Millwall, Wigan or Blackpool coming back from the abyss. Blackpool are 15 point off safety, what an awful season they've had.

And Forest New Manager showing exactly how incompetent Pearce is as a football Manager . Freedman now 16 points from 18. Keeps that up , might sneak in play offs .

Ah, Psycho. Loved him as a player (remember the passion he displayed after scoring that penalty against Germany in Euro 96) but he just isn't manager material, at least not in the upper tiers of football.

A big match coming up tomorrow.
Ipswich will be empty between 2 & 4. The pubs with Sky will be extremely busy!

Cardiff look at poor team these days , players have been shifted around . Found it hard adapting back . Wouldn't be surprised to see a Cardiff or Fulham struggling at the bottom of the championship in there second season back like Wigan .

Will just add of the teams to come up, have no objections to Derby coming up , think they deserve it . McClaren has them playing pretty consistently. Boro,Norwich, Ipswich wouldn't bother me and as my Dad is a Wolves supporter nor would Wolves. Wouldn't want Brentford or Watford up though These two can stay down .

Cardiff spent massively over a number of seasons trying to reach the Premier League, went straight back down and now look extremely unlikely to challenge again any time soon yet they got nowhere near as much stick as we've had over the last couple of years. I guess we got noticed more as we spent up whilst in the Premier League.

Four teams all on 66 points with ten games to go. Can't get any tighter than that.
Last year 36 games Leicester 81 Burnley 73 Derby 63 QPR 63

Should be an interesting finish to the season in the Championship, the title and second are anyone's to grab at the moment, but not too much of a fight to get in the playoffs minus Ipswich and Wolves.

Forest still have a chance of playoffs . They have to play all the top teams yet.

Fair play to the top four teams slogging it out. Was it 80 pts we finished 4th with last year. 4 th already has that with 3 games to go. You might need 87 points to get in the top two , i think when we won the league we only got 88.
Also play off fighting between Derby , Ipswich , Wolves and Brentford.
Most years 72 pts or at most 75 points gets you in the play offs . May need 77-78 this year .

Best championship promotion race I can remember by far

Closest promotion race I've ever seen, wonder when the last time was when no promotion was confirmed with only 3 games to go. Looking most likely that everything will come down to the last game of the season.
Wigan almost relegated last night but then Fulham equalised.

I hope Fulham and Brentford both stay in the Championsip this season. Just for the selfish reason it will be four games to look forward to when/if we go down.

Derby and McClaren choking again, will they fancy the playoffs? (if they make them).
One thing for sure whoever comes up are going to struggle big time.

Huge game tonight Boro v Norwich You would probably expect the winner of this to get automatic promotion or say the loser of it not to get AUTO
Huge game for 6 th place Saturday. I fully expect Derby to finish 5 th.
Wolves v Ipswich. , Wolves win and they are back in for 6 th spot, Ipswich win and its probably theres.

watched Naarwich-Boro last night. Boro started like a house on fire, 7 corners after just 14 minutes. In the second half Boro killed the game with some dubious tactics. Any sympathy for the budgies was quickly dispelled remembering Johnson and the rest of the team goading Joey and getting him sent off. Karma.

It's bizarre, 2 games to go and any of the top 4 could win The Championship!
