Scarlet - this was raised at the last media fans meeting with the club and is something that the club's media department regret.
They are limited in how much action they can show due to existing deals between the Premier League and Sky/BT Sport/News International. They would love to be able to provide much more than they are presently allowed and also have to see out the contract with the current web site provider before they can enforce any change over this.
They have tried to give the subscribers as much exclusive content as they can with player interviews and behind the scene stuff at Harlington for example but the viewing figures for these features are very small and the cost of putting in new media services at Harlington to improve the content is unfortunately prohibitive.
In this case the media team's hands appear to be tied by both the Premier League restrictions and budget constraints set by the board.
Personally I haven't had a subscription for 5 years or so now as you rightly point out what I want to see, the football, is easily available elsewhere and mostly for free.
Hopefully this will change in the future but for now the club can only offer what it is legally allowed to do so and this situation will remain as long as we are Premier League, subject to deals outside our control governing broadcast of football matches and also as long as we remain locked into the present contract with our web provider.

Hi Mark. Surly the club should have found out the prems rules on this before all the benefits were advertised and drew the money in from the fans...i feel raped. False advertising is wrong, they should have offered subscriptions back, they should do now.

This just reminded me, I was doing month to month and I was able to go to the "my account" button on the top of the screen and cancel it for the next month. It was useful when they were in the Championship, not so much anymore.

I also feel that this is a principle applied to football in general now, where marketing hypes up the product in order to justify a high price for little in return. Though if this wasn't the case then most of the 'investors' in football right now wouldn't have touched it with someone else's barge pole. Ours included.

I pay 10 pound per month to get up at 2am or 4am just so I can witness yet another inept "live" performance, how about the club compensate me for loss of sleep and increasing frustration??
I canned Dud World about 6 years ago. It has come a long way since then, video quality and size of viewing screen etc. but unless the club wish to invest large amounts of money and create a QPR TV scenario, I cant see any benefit unless we get relegated - which is looking on the cards at the moment. The club really are caught between a rock and a hard place and for once I have just a little bit of sympathy for them.

Yes it is and it is bloody brilliant. Highlight shows, previews as well. Some of the quality is a bit stuttery from time to time depending on how many people are logged on to their servers. But yes, if Coliseum bought the A League rights I would abandon SKY tv in a heartbeat and save a shit load of money.

If I remember correctly from that meeting the restrictions on the YouTube channel are pretty Draconian too. They are allowed 30 seconds of highlights, but not until 2 weeks after the match, and a combined total of no more than 5 minutes available at any time.

Mark Just had a look at the Burnley player, and they not only show extended highlights of home games, but also full matches, so what Burnley are showing is illegal or our lot are talking bollocks.

Perhaps you should tweet the club and ask and point to what Burnley are doing.
I presume we're doing as much as we are allowed to; there would be no reason for us not to

Also Hull city player, full replays. Southampton player, extended highlights, most established prem clubs have their own tv vids, only a few prem clubs with player like swansea and west brom showing highlights only.

I've checked with Paul Morrissey and the story is that the club do show extended highlights on QPR Player, but do not believe that there is any demand for replaying the whole match. They are not allowed to show extended highlights on You Tube.
I don't subscribe and so can not judge what qualifies as extended highlights, I'd guess that the definition varies from club to club.

Thanks Roller. Seems this time they have showed a somewhat extended replay, but prev to this they did not, Mr morrissey not telling the whole truth, plus how do they know people would not be interested in seeing the whole match i know i would and so would people who cant get to games and live abroad, at the mo qpr player is way overpriced for the content you get, and i wont be renewing next season if it remains the same.
