It’s quite clear to many of the free-thinking and reasonable people on this forum that things are very seriously wrong at QPR.
Firstly, we’re in the Premier League.
Rangers fans are suffering from some serious vertigo... there have been a growing number of incidents of dizzy fans wobblingly-walking down the Goldhawk Road, bumping into lamp posts and trees, falling off kerbs and filling the casualty wards of Hammersmith General. The club is facing bankruptcy through multiple personal injury claims from Injury Lawyers 4U.
But who can blame them. Weren’t we all much happier in League One playing at Rochdale, Crewe, Oldham or Yeovil?
Good grief, our owner wants to invest and build for the future – what a b*asta*rd.
Our players, are cr*p – Charlie Austin, who’s come up through the minor leagues and playing with a new team and system, has scored only 33.3 percent of the team’s goals this season, clearly not enough of an improvement for some fans on the 29.5% he scored in last year’s promotion-winning year - he’s clearly got to go.
Green, who’s made more saves in the PL than any other keeper this season – what sh*te, drop the b*gger.
In fact, drop the lot. Let’s play the U21 squad – they’re bound to be very affordable, maybe throw in Sir Les and the Furze for experience. We might even be able to persuade Trabzonspor to sell Bosingwa back to us in January.
Let’s move the ground to the North Acton playing fields – probably cost £60 a game rental.
Harangue TF to sell up to Ken Bates and rename the North Acton playing fields the MasterBates Arena.
Shouldn’t be long before we find our 'natural' level back in League One, where many will be hugely relieved and truly happy at last, wallowing in their ‘Schadenfreude’ to tell us all,
“I told you so...”.

Was that an attempt at humour?
The only thing Tf has built is for now and that is debt, lots and lots of it, and so far I can see little of anything for the future, not even league 1, but please don't let the fact of his incompetence put you off, he is a nice fellow, goes on pub crawls around the bush and when the going gets tough calls us fans stake holders, so all is good.

The debt.......... which is shown in the accounts and is TF's only real accomplishment.
The pub.............are you kidding? and no I did not and yes I do sometimes, I need to in order to ready myself for what I have witnessed under HR.
I have no interest in passing your questions test, I am giving an opinion, my opinion.

Don't worry there are no scores, passes or fails with my questions so if I can ask the last set. Can you name a pub in the Bush? Which make of Lager do they serve? Do they sell Cheese and Onion Crisps? How many urinals do they have in the gents? Do you think my questions are stupid? How many more do I need to ask until you realise its all a wind-up? PS Nice post Ashdown - at least a few people can keep a sense of humour through the current "doom and gloom" Damn it 57 I knew all the answers for the Adelaide pub questions as well as the last two and then you say there are no scores. signed Disappointed of Shepherds Bush.

The Master Plan is clearly to destroy QPR - Why else would there be so much idiocy and insanity going on at QPR? Year after Year after Year?

1. The shops of Uxbridge Road from 1959 to 1961 (North side only between the Met line and Loftus Road) 2. Trolley bus routes from Shepherds Bush Green. 3. How are we going to get to 40 points this season.
I think no. 3 is the most difficult so I am leaning towards one of the first two.
Doubtful that many would be needed 57 more like standard 36-37 . If you break it down into 3 sections 1/3 rd season 12-13 games 12 points. , so far we have 4 need another 8 points from next four - five games. Can you see us getting two wins and two draws from our next five? We will probably be in the bottom three for a very long time. Lets hope not still there in May

Good post. There are rangers fans that long for the good old days, were they actually that good? Small club mentality always has been always will be. This board does not reflect the mood of the fans at the games.

Well this Board as with any board reflects the views only of those individuals to post.
Just as I can only say that my views are my views.
As for "small club mentality" - I plead GUILTY. I have no problem with QPR being a small club. I just want that small club to win the Title

Tonys has some decent ideas and ambitions for sure. Still not convinced those around him are giving him sound advice. Beard clearly isn't a football man. Some of the contracts he has issued are beyond belief. Even Paladini managed to bumble a decent one out on Sterling.
Yes we are in the EPL, and yes the players/club worked hard to get here, but now that we are, we need to step up to the plate and raise the game. It is not happening. You wonder why some of fans are cynical it is because for the last 20 years we have had the piss taken and false hopes destroyed more often than not. Sure we could all bury our heads and just think about the game and the results or we can open a bigger picture and look at the clubs identity, its future, its financial viability. The club debt. All the money being spent is marked up against the club. Until I see a checque made out to the club the pay off all the debt, I will carry on and question such things.
For me personally after 39 years following the hoops, it is more than a 90 game for me. Being surrounded by plastic chelsea and Manure fans, it becomes increasingly cringe worthy when we shoot ourselves in the foot. I have watched the scum come from within minutes of folding under Ken Masterbates and crowds of less than 13k to a club with a nice stadium, large gates (Admittedly, most are plastic inhabitants) and atrack record in the last 10 years to be quite envious of. Cups, trophies etc.
We at QPR have invested heavily in mercenaries and achieved what? For the second time in recent history, we are down at the bottom of the table. We all want to see success whether it be short term or long term.
Sure we need a new stadium, i would go for a 30k seater with the ability to revert some sections to terracing should the idiots in the FA decide that it could be time to go back there and offer cheaper tickets and with more modern technology and techniques to avoid the disasters of the past. I would like to see the club stay near the Bush if possible too. On a closer front I would like to see the Acedemy improve and be successful and in first team matters I would love to see a strong squad made up of players that put their heads down and work their arses off instead of enaging in media type arse kissing.
I appreciate this thread muight have been meant in jest but it also raises a few questions that need addressing. I hope in my own way, I can stimulate debate on this and look forward to others point of views. I feel an Ingham post coming.

Everton spent 28 million on a striker to break into the top four, they were bottom four before last weekend. Work that one out. Chelsea have spent the best part of a billion quid! I have no problems with us being a small club either, we have had the same 10000 hardcore fans since I started going in the early 80's. Whats wrong with our little club bettering itself with loads of money and mistakes?.

Ah, a good-humoured thread.
I don't get the point about bettering ourselves. Bad results and performances keep QPR small. That is why supporters condemn them.

The point being if there had been no money spent we would not have been promoted twice in four years. We would just be having poor results at a lower level. Nothing wrong with supporters condeming poor performances. Just have to be realistic.
