Millionaire by the time he was 37, and that is when a million was worth something!
I tend to think that he made his own luck.

Ironically of course, QPR have been run a lot of other "Businessmen" who totally F**** up - and lost countless millions

I tend to think that he made his own luck.I'm sure he did Roller, but I know he also upset (don't want to say he was hated) many other football club chairmen & I would sugest just as many in business! Our club would still be like Gillingham (just an example) if it had not been for Jim Gregory & we owe him so much. However, let us remember that he was far from an Angel! Only us oldies remember that he rebuilt Loftus Road & it was the most modern stadium (and the envy of most clubs & supporters) in the country. Thank God he was our rouge & not somebody else's!

As I've mentioned before, I used to be taken to QPR by a guy who Volunteered with St John's Ambulance Brigade at QPR. And I remember they had to keep their First Aid stuff & stretchers etc in some small shed alongside or behind the Ellersie Road stand.
