As one who has been critical of Adel frequently, including on this thread, I am now going to try to be charitable. What I would like to see is that as and when he walks on to the pitch as a team member or even a sub, our supporters should give him the biggest cheer going to give him the encouragement he needs and the feeling that everybody wants to see the old Adel back again. Is this too much to expect, I wonder? Would find that very hard to do Gramps, he has insulted the club, fans, and team mates once too often, has come back from pre season again overweight, that's every season since he's been here. Tarrabt has not got the dedication needed to be a top pro, nor the brains.

I take your point Kilburn and Bushy. Whatever will be, will be.

I remember Arry once trying Taarabt and Modric in midfield together, and Modric told Arry afterwards that it was the hardest 90mins that he had ever played. This is understandable to me and the reason why Taarabt can only play a free role in a team.

This is understandable to me and the reason why Taarabt can only play a free role in a team. Harry infamously said that Modric was still recovering from that game years later. If he's fit enough and good enough then he'll find a place in the team. If not, we'll be doing the whole sideshow thing all over again in January.
