Everyone in this Forum is apparently hating on Taarabt, it is evident that he does not want to play for QPR, and I do not blame him; the team is relegation bound, as it is built with 20 plus misfit players, just like building a car with parts from every car make and model. He is one of the few talented players in the EPL and in the World, few players can take on defenders the way he can, if he can be less selfish, he could easily become top 10 payers in the world with a value of &50,000,000 or more. The owners would not let him go for reason, all of you geniuses here are just talking hate, my guess that he will let his contract expire or Someone will step up and buy it out, He was the best player in AC Milan over-shadowing Kaka, Balo, Honda, Ronaldinho and the rest, his hype in Italy was unprecedented for the few months he played there. if I were him I would buy out the contract from The R's, and free my self to shine in the world stage, what good is money if you are miserable. Milan Happened to be flat broke for whatever reason, and his heart was set on playing there and nowhere else, none of the top 5 EPL teams even appeal to him, their style of play is just blend, Adel likes the art of football and to entertain, When he's Happy He's Magical, and no one decent player is happy playing for Arry or playing along side Crazy Barton. I really hope he leaves England sooner rather than later so He can shine the way he is capable of doing. Set him free.
Nice post deanmouk The truth is Arry wants us to get relegated and our chairman is rich and isn't interested in picking up 50mill+ for Taarabt. Maybe we should give Barcelona Taarabt and SWP in exchange for Messi and Neymar Trust me, not even those two can save QPR

Mark. I can see the tatoos, Sad really, and sorry I made you cry, I will call Arry to give you a hug. I'm not quite sure what your point is about Mark's tats, and what they have to do with your post on Taarabt. How old are you? Bushie, I think that you can guess his age by the mouk part of his name. It is probably his favourite character, as you can see from a suggested avatar.

Hey Dean. I am glad you like the attention, we love a bit of controversial banter!
But tell me, did you find merit in anything any one of us replied? Like Monkeys on typewriters, at least one of us must have written something that was ok so why do we elicit so much of your contempt?

Oh wow! An Adel Taarabt thread.
How novel.
I stopped reading Fernandes's eulogy at "...he wants to be here..."

To 57, Gramps and Nomar - occasionally we all find threads that we think are boring or pointless. I find it best just to ignore them and not to post on them. It is conceivable that some posters might find the threads you start as pointless you know!
In this instance, yet another Adel thread has started because he just got included in the 25 man squad when we all thought he'd be gone. That is worth a chat.
And what's more, Deanmouk has come in to rattle our cage on the topic which I think is very entertaining. Bring it on!

As you say, quite rightly, blatant, nobody is forced to read any thread and there are plenty here to hold the attention. As you say ........... bring it on!

Blatant one and all members here, first of all, I hope that expressing my opinion about a player or a team does not extend beyond that, with that I wish QPR a successful season and a long presence in the premier league, more than that I wish you get a rich owner willing to spend money on putting a squad to compete with the top 5, you all be amazed how fast the support base will grow, remember Chelsea 20 years ago. Exactly my point. So good luck my friends. Last post.

For those of you of a certain age will remember the crockery sellers down the markets you would watch them throw the plates around and crack them together making you believe they were of the best quality and you'd be mad not to buy them. That's what Fernandes was doing last night concerning Taarabt!!!! Hey, I used to have that job down Wembley Market in the early 1980s. How is it possible that Adel could do well for AC Milan and yet isn't good enough for little QPR? Of course we all know th eanswer to that; attitude. He played well at AC Milan ecause he wanted to be there because they were a big club that fitted his ego/vission of where he should be. It is desperately sad that he doesn't seem able to improve his attitude. I'm still rooting for him, but the truth is it is all in his own hand. 'arry doesn't owe him anything and the club doesn't owe him anything. He owes the club some loyalty and needs to get his act together!

I think he is already in contention . Coming of the subs bench for a minute or two against Sunderland proved that. If he trains a little harder I can see him starting some games this season for sure .
I reckon Glenn Hoddle will love working with Adel , could work out well? You never know with Adel though.

I've been a strong critic of Taarabt and if his attitude continues to be poor than I would rather him leave but what I would really love to see is him grow up knuckle down and start to fulfil the potential that he clearly has. I think my anger with him is because I hate to see his talent going to waste. He played well whenever I saw him play in Italy but I believe that was because of the style of football they play there it gave him so much time to pick out his passes and he wasn't expected to do the defensive duties that he has to do in the Premier League although must admit saw him chasing back a couple of time. SHOCKED!!!!!!

SHOCKED!!!!!! He needs to convince Harry first of all, not TF. Like others on here I genuinely hope he knuckles down and fulfils his potential. He has the skills, no one can doubt that, but now he needs to put all the other bits of his game together, the training, proper diet and weight management, and a level of consistency. After the playoff victory Charlie Austin was saying that he was looking forward to playing with Taarabt. Austin knows that an in form Taarabt will create plenty of chances for him. Adel needs to do all the other thngs now that will make him a proper professional footballer. I hope he gets it because otherwise he's going to waste the best years of his life squandering the god given talent he has. And if he is making the effort to integrate in the team and help the cause then Harry needs to respond to that and not give Adel the cold shoulder. We'll see how it all plays out. PS: I will say this for him: He still has the ability to make an awful lot of defenders in this league look incredibly stupid.

Well it's good to see him have that attitude, problem is where do we put him and if he doesn't get playing time we all know where it goes from here. I think they should give him playing time and if he does well it could help us out and we might be able to get a nice chunk of change for him in the January window. Either way, a productive Adel can help this team a lot. Maybe Steve Black is working his magic again.

Hoddle was a genius and one of my favourite players as a kid. You'd think he'd understand someone like Adel who is blessed with the similar kind of talent that Hoddle had. I think Hoddle also may have better man management skills than Harry and so maybe Hoddle is someone Adel can relate to. Play him behind the striker in if we play 4-2-3-1.

My only problem with playing him behind the striker is who do you take out? I think it's safe to say Fer, Sandro and probably Barton would make up our midfield. I would like to see Vargas play on the wing, but Hoilett played very well last week. You could probably afford to take out Phillips. Not sure how Vargas does on the right. There is also a chance to take out Barton for Sandro and play Fer on the left with Adel in front. I guess at the end of the day, an interesting problem to have.

As one who has been critical of Adel frequently, including on this thread, I am now going to try to be charitable. What I would like to see is that as and when he walks on to the pitch as a team member or even a sub, our supporters should give him the biggest cheer going to give him the encouragement he needs and the feeling that everybody wants to see the old Adel back again. Is this too much to expect, I wonder?
