This squad is no way near good enough to be mid table. There is a lack of pace and creativity, and should Austin get injured, no goals either.

Hate to admit it but I put up on Twitter this morning ' that my first thought upon waking today was, who the **** would want to sign for QPR.
The simple answer at present is either nobody but if we do it will likely be a misfit, a disruptive player, an out of favour player or a mercenary chasing a last pay day.
I think we are reaping what we have sown.

Pleased about Jarvis always rated the guy from when he was at Wolves but now we have 2 strikers as our Manager uses one as a Winger

The whole thing is a circus H. Why bother with Zarate in the first place? Same goes for Mutch. These people have lost the plot, and we are a laughing stock.

Pleased about Jarvis always rated the guy from when he was at Wolves but now we have 2 strikers as our Manager uses one as a Winger With Jarvis in, this should allow Vargas to play striker. I also like him and think he do a good job for us. This team needs better service from the wings and this should help.

Beyond a joke we are absolute cock up since HR joined us , could not organise the running of a bath . First class shambles and total total waste of a season in the PL . Just my opinion but im happy with my thoughts .

"window ended in farce" Guardian; Harry Redknapp thwarted on deadline day as QPR fail to sign Matt Jarvis ⢠Premier League rules scuppered QPR managerâs deadline day dealings ⢠Hoped to borrow West Hamâs Jarvis and send Mauro ZĂĄrate back to Upton Park QPR's Harry Redknapp will be doing plenty of head scratching after missing window of opportunity. QPR's Harry Redknapp will be doing plenty of head scratching after missing his window of opportunity. Photograph: Dave Thompson/PA Dominic Fifield Monday 2 February 2015 20.28 EST Queens Park Rangersâ transfer window ended in farce after the Premier League blocked their attempts to secure Matt Jarvis on loan, leaving Harry Redknapp deeply frustrated at a failure to land any of his targets on deadline day. The manager had hoped to cancel Mauro ZĂĄrateâs loan from West Ham United, the Argentinian having managed only 14 minutes of first-team football since moving to QPR, amid concerns over his fitness, and, having reached agreement to take Jarvis on loan from Upton Park instead, sought special dispensation from the Premier League to smooth the two moves. However, the governing body confirmed its rules precluded ZĂĄrate from returning to his parent club in the same window, with Jarvis unable to make the temporary move either as top-flight clubs cannot take more than one player on loan from the same rival. That scuppered any chance of stopped QPR adding the former England winger to their ranks, the move fizzling out like their hopes of securing Aaron Lennon from Tottenham Hotspur earlier in the day. The confusion meant QPR â who remain second bottom in the division and without a point away from home all season â have been left with ZĂĄrate on their books until the summer as their only senior addition to the ranks, despite the player knowing he had been deemed surplus to requirements. Indeed, the clubâs major business of the month was the sale of the summer signing, Jordon Mutch, to Crystal Palace for ÂŁ4.75m. The clubâs chairman, Tony Fernandes, had taken to Twitter earlier in the day to suggest any incoming deals were unlikely. âNo more cheque book,â he wrote. âWe have good players. Bought all the players manager asked for in summer. Our players not mercenaries. Good guys. If something interesting comes up we would look at it. But Iâm not optimistic. Given the right motivation, tactics and coaching we can achieve much more.â www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/03/redknapp-qpr-fail-matt-jarvis-signing

What I can't understand with the new Premier League TV deal you would have thought that we would have really spent something this transfer window ,Fernandes goes on about the Premier League being where we have to be , well if that is the case and with our Premier League status under threat then why have we not spent a bean ,this new TV deal means that Premier League clubs can almost double their income , and we do absolutely no business at all ,just to add the Zarate deal was such a farce ,rant over

Maybe that's one of the reasons we sold Mutch, had to get a midfielder off the payroll.
Have a feeling Diakite is on one the Hughes massive contracts:

Diakite is the nearest we have got to a decent new signing in this transfer window. Sorry for the cliche but he is like a new addition to the squad.
No money was spent because we are grossly in debt and in breach of the FFP rules. This is purely down to the financial mismanagement of current and previous owners
