Adebayor just sums up every thing that's bad at QPR . Still trying to loan players that don't give a toss, not ones that are probably not going to fight tooth and nail.
The whole of the football world will have a good old laugh at QPR if we sign Adebayor, everyone knows we never learn from our mistakes like we didn't with Rio.
Suppose the first thing he will say about him is a Triffic lad.

Adebayor would be all wrong in my opinion too, but, let's not judge on the back of journos rumours... the same journos who said Hoilett was left out of the squad yesterday...

Marseille reject QPR offer for AndrƩ Ayew According to our colleagues at RMC, Marseille have rejected an offer from Premier League side QPR for Ghanaian international AndrƩ Ayew. The offer was rejected yesterday for the man who is out of contract this summer and is currently in Equatorial Guinea for the African Cup of Nations. Marseille hope that Ayew will sign an extension, with the promise that he will be sold in the summer so that they can recoup a transfer fee for him. www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2015/marseille-reject-qpr-offer-for-andre-ayew/

Nobody wants to join us .... can't say I blame them .... The least we had to do was show some guts and get some points over the last 1/2 dozen games. Not a team that players want to be joining for the right reasons?
Don't think this is a final day window I'm really looking forward too?

I think Tootenham will be glad to see Adebayor off even if it is only on loan until the end of the season and even if we pay maybe half of his wages.

As long as its on the above terms. He would score goals and on is day is absolute top class. So short term he'd be great, its the longer term he becomes a problem as he has proved wherever hes been.

Transfer deadline day king Harry Redknapp weighing up late moves for Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon and Bakary Sako QPR boss Harry Redknapp is eager to bolster his options before deadline Emmanuel Adebayor could join QPR on loan deal until end of the season Redknapp's side fell to a 3-1 defeat against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium By SAMI MOKBEL FOR THE DAILY MAIL PUBLISHED: 22:32, 1 February 2015 | UPDATED: 23:55, 1 February 2015 4 View comments Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp - the king of transfer deadline day - is set for another frantic few hours of potential late deals. Loan moves for Tottenham duo Emmanuel Adebayor, Aaron Lennon will be explored by Rangers on Monday, as will a swoop for Wolves forward Bakary Sako. Redknapp is desperate to bolster his forward line before Monday's deadline and is ready to look at his former club for reinforcements. Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor could seal a deadline-day switch to Queens Park Rangers +3 Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor could seal a deadline-day switch to Queens Park Rangers Hull City target Aaron Lennon is also said to be on Redknapp's transfer wish-list +3 Hull City target Aaron Lennon is also said to be on Redknapp's transfer wish-list SUPER STAT Jonathan Walters became the first PL player to complete a perfect hat-trick since Kevin Nolan and Romelu Lukaku in May 2013. Adebayor was brought to White Hart Lane by Redknapp, who is keen to strike an agreement with his ex-employers over a temporary switch until the end of the season. The major stumbling block towards a deal will be the striker's wages, which are said to be around Ā£100,000-per-week. Rangers will need Spurs to supplement a large portion of Adebayor's salary, a stipulation White Hart Lane chairman Daniel Levy, who is a notorious tough negotiator, will be reluctant to agree to. Adebayor's future is set to be one of the prevalent issues of transfer deadline. Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is also understood to be keen on taking the striker from Spurs, who will listen to offers for the former Manchester City and Arsenal man. Paris St Germain have also shown an interest in Adebayor. Rangers are also preparing to pounce for Lennon, should his proposed switch to Hull collapse. The winger looked set for a loan move to the Tigers, with a view to a permanent switch in the summer. Harry Redknapp: We can't afford Adebayor wages, it's a no-go Wolves forward Bakary Sako is attracting interest from Premier League duo QPR and West Brom +3 Wolves forward Bakary Sako is attracting interest from Premier League duo QPR and West Brom But there has been a dispute between the two clubs over who will pay the majority of his Ā£55,000-per-week wages until the end of the season. Spurs have been alerted to the situation regarding Lennon, who is a long term target for Redknapp, and QPR could pounce if the issue isn't resolved. Meanwhile, Sako remains a target for the Hoops after Redknapp admitted his interest in the forward last week. The Hoopsā need for reinforcements was clear at Stoke on Saturday. Their record 11th consecutive away defeat proved too much for midfielder Joey Barton, who said: āUmpteen times this season weāve been our own worst enemy and itās not f*****g good enough.ā Stokeās Jonathan Walters helped himself to a āperfect hat-trickā ā one scored with his left foot, one with his right and the final one with his head. Shows just how much of a shambles the Daily Mail is considering there is another article, written I think by Simon Jones, that says Adebayor has turned us down. Two totally contradicting stories in the same paper on the same day.

Not really a tansfer about us but interesting that we have a head of recruitment based in Oz WHY SOCCEROOS STAR MASSIMO LUONGO REJECTED A $7 MILLION BID FROM QATAR In demand Massimo Luongo celebrates his goal for Australia in the 2015 AFC Asian Cup final against Korea Republic. (Getty) Breakthrough Australia midfielder Massimo Luongo has rejected a $7 million tax-free offer from a Qatar club, opting to concentrate on helping pilot League One team Swindon Town to the English Championship. By David Lewis 2 FEB 2015 - 5:50 AM UPDATED 26 MINS AGO 0 The bid for the AFC Asian Cupās player of the tournament from the unnamed Stars League club was tabled on the eve of Tuesday morning's (AEDT) closure of the European transfer window and came just days after a Turkish Super Liga side had a $4.8 million offer rejected by the Robins. There are also several Bundesliga clubs closely monitoring Luongo, who entered the Asian Cup as a relative unknown but has emerged with a winnerās medal and his reputation hugely enhanced after two goals and two man of the match performances. According to Luongoās London-based advisor David Magrone, the 22 year-old midfielder passed up on the two-and-a-half year offer - which met Swindon's valuation, because he feels his development will be better served remaining in Europe. Magrone, who is head of recruitment at Queens Park Rangers, said: āIt was a big offer but it hasnāt changed Massās view that his next club should be one where he can continue developing and growing as a player. "Itās a nice position for him to be in but heās a humble guy who at this stage of his career remains focused on getting Swindon promoted ā and I am sure something will then happen for him in the northern summer. "Being voted MPV at Asian Cup is a great achievement for Mass but itās not a surprise to me. "I believe he is Australiaās best player by a fair way and heās only going to get better. He was part of the World Cup squad in June and he was ready to play and perform then. "He hasn't suddenly become a good player, this has been many years in the making." Robins coach Mark Cooper also waxed lyrical about Luongo, telling Swindon's LinkSport he is the "David Beckham of Australia" and suggesting he could be worth as much as $10 million. āWhen you play in a global tournament youāre going to get foreign teams interested in you and thatās what has happened to Mass," Cooper said. āHeās the pin-up boy of Australian football now and I know his peers in the Australian team think highly of him, and thatās the biggest accolade you can get as a footballer. Heās the David Beckham of Australia now, is Mass.ā When quizzed on what he would sell Luongo for if he had control of the club's finances, Cooper replied: "About Ā£25 million ($48.5 million). I wouldnāt sell him. Unless we were in desperate, desperate need, I wouldnāt sell him.ā Magrone began coaching Luongo as a 14 year-old growing up in Sydney and was responsible for bringing him to Tottenham Hotspur, where he captained the Under-21s before signing for Swindon for $800,000 in March 2013. "Heās done a lot to help Swindon in their promotion push and going there was the pathway he decided to take, rather than simply sitting around at Tottenham waiting for his chance to come," Magrone said. "He was prepared to drop down and prove himself at the lower levels. Nobody was forcing him to leave. "He just needed to play regularly and because Mass is so humble, money has never been an issue. "Itās all about challenging himself and pushing on to the top level, whether thatās the Premier League or elsewhere in Europe.ā Luongo will be back Swindon on Thursday where he will swap the cauldron of a sold out Stadium Australia against Korea Republic for the somewhat less galmorous visit of Barnsley to the County Ground at the weekend. "Knowing him as he is, that wonāt bother him,ā said Cooper. theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2015/02/01/socceroos-sensation-luongo-snubs-7-million-qatar-offer-needs-pic

Queens Park Rangers lead Emmanuel Adebayor chase after Tottenham accept bid for striker 08:12, 2 February 2015 By John Cross The striker has fallen to third in the pecking order at White Hart Lane and Harry Redknapp is looking to bring him in to bolster QPR's survival credentials 3 Shares Share Tweet +1 Email Action ImagesTottenham v Sheffield UnitedParting salute? Adebayor could help QPR's fight against relegation from the Premier League Harry Redknapp has sparked a deadline day scramble to sign Emmanuel Adebayor. Queens Park Rangers boss Redknapp is understood to have had an offer accepted by Spurs - and it is now up to Adebayor whether to make the switch. Stoke are also interested in the 30-year-old who has been told he can leave White Hart Lane if he can find a deal in January. But QPR are now hoping they can persuade Adebayor to move to Loftus Road even though he has 18 months left on his Ā£100,000-a-week contract at Spurs. Adebayor is understood to want to move to a Champions League club and would rather move abroad which leaves QPR and Stoke with a lot of persuading to do. But it would appear that QPR - despite Redknapp insisting he has not got much money to spend - have made the first move to get their man. VIEW GALLERY Paris Saint Germain were also keen but could not balance their books to bring him in while Roma also saw a deal fall through because of finance. Adebayor has fallen out of favour at Spurs despite captaining the club last month because the fans have turned on him after he criticised the atmosphere at White Hart Lane. That has left Spurs ready to listen to offers for Adebayor in January either on loan or preferably on a permanent basis. QPR blew a huge chunk of their budget in January on Mauro Zarate and Redknapp admits he needs a striker with Adebayor now in his sights. They have also been looking at French midfielder Yann MāVila as a January deal but that may depend on Adebayor and the budget. www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-lead-emmanuel-adebayor-transfer-5088928?
