From offthepost www.offthepost.info/blog/2014/09/qpr-make-bid-for-chelseas-petr-cech/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+offthepost%2FTLAa+%28Off+The+Post%29QPR make bid for Chelsea’s Petr Cech POSTED BY STEVEN DEEKS - SEPTEMBER 1, 2014 - ALL NEWS, CHELSEA, QPR, TRANSFER NEWS AND GOSSIP Petr Cech could be on his way out of Chelsea after 10 years service – with QPR making a bid to sign him on a season long loan, according to reports. QPR were in talks with Chelsea over the weekend after agreeing to sell Loic Remy to their London rivals – with the possibility of signing Cech raised, the Mail reports. The stopper’s future has been in the balance after he was replaced as the Blues number one for the start of the season by Thibaut Courtois. And the situation does not look like changing after boss Jose Mourinho confirmed Cech would continue on the bench. The 32-year-old has been linked with a move to Paris Saint Germain and Monaco, though the player himself has sent out mixed messages as to hos wishes. “I have been at the club for 10 years, the situation is now new to me,” he told sport.cz. “The three opening matches I could not play for the team. I have no reason to panic, pack up and leave.” “I am a Chelsea player, where I have two more years of contract. In football, nothing can be predicted in advance, nothing is ever perfect. “A lot of players go on representative duty, yet still many transfer clubs. The offer would have to be right for everyone. I do not exclude anything (or) know the answer.” QPR’s signing of Reading ‘keeper Alex McCarthy, though, suggests any deal is unlikely.

Some light hearted relief from bwinbetting ‘The clock is ticking’ on White’s entrance, but no sign of QPR gaffer For a bit of light relief, have a punt on Harry Redknapp’s belated appearance and Sky’s favourite cliche merchant. There’s still no word on when Harry Redknapp’s chauffeured Bentley will roll up outside QPR’s training ground for the veteran wheeler dealer (just don’t call him that) to tell all regarding the Super Hoops’ late business, but betting opportunities abound on deadline day. You can still get 1/5 on the man who would be England manager performing his customary roadshow from the comfort of a car window, while Redknapp’s interview lasting longer than three minutes is available at snap-your-hand-off 11/5 odds. However, an even better way to make money from the 67-year-old’s twice-yearly sojourn into the markets could be by backing the west Londoners to make the last transfer of the window at 6/1. Considering QPR are rumoured to be in for Fabio Borini, Jermain Defoe, Aaron Lennon, Sandro, Gary Lineker, both the Charlton brothers and probably Peter Crouch, this price looks as likely to turn into profit as not. Premier League Man Utd win £39.00 (3/10) Draw £150.00 (4/1) QPR win £285.00 (17/2) Man Utd 0-0 QPR £300.00 (9/1) Man Utd 1-0 QPR £210.00 (6/1) Man Utd 1-1 QPR £270.00 (8/1) In other deadline-day betting news, the imminent arrival of feted news anchor Jim White into the Sky Sports studios, where he’ll feature from 7pm onwards, has seen the black and gold boys at bwin.com price up which cliche the Scot will blurt out first. ‘The clock is ticking’ is the strongly-fancied 6/4 favourite, followed by ‘A Sky Sports exclusive’ at 5/1. However, ‘This just in’ at 14/1 should hold plenty of appeal with fewer than four hours ‘before the window slams shut’, which – incidentally – is available at 5/1. Jim White First Cliche Specials The clock is ticking – 6/4 A Sky Sports exclusive – 5/1 Before the window slams shut – 5/1 We can now reveal – 7/1 You will hear it here first – 7/1 Hold on to your hats – 11/1 This just in – 14/1 Harry Redknapp is in his car waiting – 14/1 Spotted at the training ground – 25/1 Just put pen to paper – 25/1 He has just tweeted – 50/1 I am so excited – 50/1 Stop everything and listen to this – 50/1 Jim White's First Cliche - 'This just in' @ 14/1 More on: Premier League, QPR - See more at: bwinbetting.com/leagues/premier-league/the-clock-ticking-whites-entrance-sign-qpr-gaffer,60615.html?#sthash.Hvn5JNGL.dpuf

If Dunne goes for £2m that's a great deal given he only signed his contract extension a couple of months ago.

Isn't it a little unsavoury to be running a book - Skybet - and the same organisation feeding the rumours whilst controlling the odds? Seems a little, manipulative to me.

No Borini! Good, priced himself out of the market by demanding, so say, £90000 a week.

Pleased that that one did not go through ,scoring record bloody awful ,and you say he wants 90.000 a week that is bloody ludicrous , for a player who can't evenngetnin their first team ,what the hell was thinking of to even consider him

Maybe Defoe could still happen, wouldn't be a bad signing for us. Also sounds like Sandro is going to happen.

Nope but it would be madness to not have a few strikers lined up as everyone knew Remy was on his way. Still. plenty of time for 'Arry, Beard and Uncle Tone to panic buy an overpriced OAP ex Spurs/Pompey/Wham crock before 11.

We know how injury ravaged Bobby is . We should have had a replacement for Remy lined up minimum . Still got nearly 2 hours though

I agree but to have bought a player who is still unproven in the prem for that much money and also pay him £90k a week would be mental. I don't think we can really fault the club on effort, it just seems to me that everyone is demanding ridiculous amounts of money!
