For those that don't see QPR too often, the game at Wigan was one of the better performances of the season and hopefully bodes well that we are on an upward slope rather than downward spiral form wise for the remaining game(s) to come. It may not be the kind of football I was weaned on in the late 1960's of attacking flair but we got the result and that's what mattered at Wigan last night.
Loftus Road on Monday will be a different prospect from what appeared to be pretty sterile home support and those of us going really do have a role to play on Monday night that cannot be underestimated. Never before has the '12 man' cliche meant something.
Let's be honest, this team isn't really very good....... but it's what we've got and Wigan don;t look any better.....and we are on the up.
Onward to Wembley.

Agreed we are not a very good side football was not pretty but performance is irrelevant at this stage it's all about the result and feel we got a result last night.
Need the atmosphere on Monday to be like the game against Chelsea when we won 1-0 at home the place was ferocious and intimidating any Wigan players coming over by the Ellerslie Road needs to get a reception that makes him never want to come over there again. COYR'sssssssssss

I assume you're only talking about the second half seeing as we barely touched the ball in the first 45?? I wouldn't say it was one of our best performances, though they have been few and far between I grant you...but we got the result we needed playing poorly and hopefully we can put the tie to bed at LR.
We can't afford to not turn up for 45 minutes against derby I fear!

No I'm actually talking about the whole game...usually we have plenty of possession and do bugger all with it. We seemed for once not to be too concerned about 'how many passes can we do going nowhere before we pass it back to Green to hoof it nowhere' to 'let's stifle the opposition by squeezing the play'. Whilst I accept that we may have played a slightly more attacking game in the second half, the game as a whole saw QPR with a game plan that achieved its objectives.
It remains woeful football however but we got the result that gives us the edge on Monday......let's hope the same Wigan team also turns up....... because they weren't very good either.
