Had a great game today, im sure I see Mackie fall out of his back pocket as the teams left the pitch.

That was his revenge for a few seasons back when Mackie completely destroyed him for 90 minutes.
BAE was actually good today for once, still don't like him though.

I can see why Rory but better to have him at LB for play offs than Hill or YSY I think. Especially in a final on a big pitch at Wembley.

Trouble is BAE can just as easily give away silly goals through his general arrogance/laziness/attitude...I forget who we were playing when he gifted them at least 2 goals ...I'd still rather see YSY playing myself.

On every occasion I've seen him he's been quality-so I don't entirely get the 'anti BAE'. The problem must be with the skill that he possesses he makes things look easy and then people take it as being casual, couldn't care etc bit like Bosingwa? I'm sure he must have had a number of bad games otherwise he wouldn't be so pilloried but I do have a feeling that he has been unjustly made a 'scapegoat' ? Though that's not necessarily a reason for denying Yun more opportunities!

BAE is a typical Spurs defender....and the last time Spurs had a decent defence Harold MacMillan was Prime Minister! Its true I tell you. Check the History or better still ask Gramps! He has got a bit of skill though but in my book not a back four player

Not sure re the FA, but it's possible, if found guilty, could miss the playoffs?

Hey kilburn the latest from 'Arry via london24.com www.london24.com/sport/championship/qpr/qpr_boss_claims_wigan_have_best_squad_and_gives_injury_update_1_3591137Harry Redknapp believes that Wigan have got the best squad in the Championship as QPR prepare for their play-off tussle against the Latics. Rangers have the better head to head record over the two league games – drawing at the DW Stadium and winning at Loftus Road. But Redknapp is expecting a tough test in the north west tomorrow night. “They’re a good side,” he said. “They’ve probably got the best squad in the division. “They’ve got a good young manager, a great chairman. They’re a good club. “We’re a good side and it’ll be a really good match. All four games will be evenly balanced.” He added: “We played well up there and drew. We beat them at home and it was a tough game. It’s all sudden death – two games.” Benoit Assou-Ekotto is out of the game as are Alejandro Faurlin, Jermaine Jenas and Matt Phillips, while Danny Simpson and Clint Hill are fit to play. “We’re fine,” Redknapp said. “We’ve got a pretty much fit squad. “The lads with long term injuries are getting close. Ali Faurlin and Matt Phillips have done fantastic. “They’ll be fit and available for next season. They’re a couple of weeks away.”

Reading between the lines, he's been sent back and isn't injured at all.
He's a disgrace however, recently decided to insult a QPR fan on Twitter.

His Headbut Explanation! www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9356584/world-cup-benoit-assou-ekotto-explains-headbutt-on-cameroon-team-mateWorld Cup: Benoit Assou-Ekotto explains 'headbutt' on Cameroon team-mateBy Patrick Haond | Last Updated: 21/06/14 11:52am Benoit Assou-Ekotto has explained his 'headbutt' on Cameroon team-mate Benjamin Moukandjo in the 4-0 defeat to Croatia. The Tottenham left-back, who spent last season on loan at QPR, was involved in an angry exchange with midfielder Moukandjo towards the end of Wednesday's World Cup Group A clash in Manaus. Assou-Ekotto threw his head towards Moukandjo in the closing moments in an unsavoury conclusion to the contest. In L’Equipe, Assou-Ekotto attempted to explain what led to his confrontation with the Nancy forward. "It all started with the first match against Mexico (a 1-0 defeat)," said the 30-year-old. "Moukandjo was on my flank, he tried to dribble past two opponents and lost the ball. Benjamin Moukandjo: Involved in confrontation "I told him he should pass it to me. He replied I was right. The same situation happened against Croatia again. Everyone can make a mistake. But when I told him again, he replied: "Get off my back!" "I could not accept his reaction. There was so much frustration in that match. "Now people take me for an idiot. I could not control my temper. If the score was 0-0, it would have not happened. "When we went back to the changing-room, Samuel Eto’o talked to me, but I was so angry that I didn’t admit I was wrong. "The next day, we met with Moukandjo again during breakfast and we shook hands. "That kind of thing can happen when a team doesn’t work right. I didn’t think. Millions of people were watching at the match, and a lot of kids. "I have not been threatened with a ban from the group. I am a human being and I can get upset just like anyone.”

Redknapp has spoken a lot about "The Right Sort" - which obviously means more than just "talent" sometimes shown on the field.
I'd say BAE is very much not the right sort...And why we'd want to bring him in, would be hard to understand
