we'll be back to playing 4231 hopefully , defense will be more solid and wont concede, as its been very leaky in the last few games with us playing 442 , so i'll go for a narrow win CHARLTON 0 QPR 1

A 2-1 win for the R's
This prediction is obviously based on the assumption that Charlton have not scored first.....because if they do there is not a hope in hell of us winning the game

I have come on your site previously mainly to discuss loan players like Gary Borrowdale who has now resurfaced at Gillingham,Lee Cook Hogan Ephraim and Rob Hulse. I have always felt welcomed by you and enjoyed my visits here.
For tomorrow I will give you an opposing perspective.
We have been taken over by Standard Liege owner Roland Duchalet, whilst in the medium to long term I am very positive about this development and I think Charlton will stabilise, I am fearful that in the short term after selling Ben Alnwick,Yann Kermorgant and Dale Stephens we could be heading back to League 1 next season if we do not get some points on the board soon.He has brought 4 players in from Liege and 1 from another club in his network. In all he now owns 6 clubs in 5 countries.
I won't give a prediction partly because I appreciate I am a guest here and also on this occasion I genuinely don't know how the Addicks will line up or perform tomorrow as we are in a period of transition. We also have the challenge of 2 games in 52 hours because our FA Cup tie with the massive Sheffield Wednesday is on Monday night. This is because we cannot clash with Manchester United's Champions League game because of UEFA regulations. One word of warning also is that our pitch is awful and looks like something out of repeats of the Big Match on ITV 4 from the 70's and 80's because of drainage issues. I could see this being a leveller on Saturday because on paper we don't match up to you in terms of skill.
So our line up and formation is anyone's guess, but I will try and give you an idea.
In goal I hope Ben Hamer will return after playing for the U21's this week.He is an adequate keeper for this level. The alternative is on loan Standard Liege goalie Johann Thuram . When he was signed it was claimed that Johann had been the top keeper in French Ligue 1 last season when playing for Troyes and that he needed games to possibly challenge for a place in the French World Cup Squad. The charitable interpretation is that as a Continental stopper he needs to catch more than punch and after a run of games he will be fine. The alternative opinion is that he is a liability who has already cost us a couple of points. In my view the jury is still out on him , but it is a shame we let Ben Alnwick move on to Orient although he has now been signed off by a doctor and currently isn't playing for the O's.
In defence I hope Rhoys Wiggins will return at left back,I believe Rhoys has the potential to play in the premier league and it will be a boost to us if he is fit.The alternatives would probably be Ceddy Evina who is out of form,Harry Lennon a young left footed centre back who has filled in on a couple of occasions or Welsh Under 21 International Morgan Fox who has not appeared for the Addicks yet but played half a dozen games for Notts County earlier in the season. At right back unfortunately Chris Solly is out so it will probably be either Lawrie Wilson or French youngster Loic Nego who we signed from the Duchalet network during the loan window. The centre backs will probably be Michael Morrison and Richard Wood although ex Spur Dorian Dervite and the previously mentioned Harry Lennon could feature.A few times this season Powell has gone 3 5 2 and played the 2 full backs as wing backs with 3 centre backs.
In midfield Gus Poyet's son Diego has really stepped up to the plate in his first two outings since Dale Stephens departed and shows a maturity beyond his teenage years. He will probably start with his former youth team colleague Jordan Cousins.Alongside them might be Johnnie Jackson although I can't see our skipper playing 180 minutes in 52 hours so it wouldn't surprise me if he was rested.Astrit Ajdarevic is also naturally left footed so this gives us the opportunity to rest JJ but retain our natural balance.Ajdarevic who came in on loan from Liege looked very impressive in his first couple of outings. Other options include right footed winger Danny Green and left footed young winger Callum Harriott if we go 4 4 2,a better option on the right might be Lawrie Wilson if Nego plays right back . Green and Harriott are both inconsistent and maybe Green's level is L1 whease Harriott is still young and on his day very effective.other central mid fielders could be Veteran Andy Hughes,Bradley Pritchar or Danny Hollands.Mark Gower is still injured
Up front we have been woeful this season and some of you predictions made me smile.I don't think we would be capable of scoring 3 against you. Simon Church is an honest striker and gets through a lot of work,Marvin Sordell has disappointed me, I saw him play for team GB and was quite excited when we obtained his signature. So far his has not lived up to his star billing. The other two options are both new former Standard Liege Iranian International Reza Ghoochannej had who looked lively on his debut and young Pole Piotr Parzyszek who also arrived on deadline day.He appeared very briefly on the last home game and certainly has a physical presence.
On a final point I see that the SWP rumour has emerged again.I could see this as being in your interest as well as ours . Clearly we no longer pose a threat to you this season and won't even play you again after tomorrow , but we still need to play most of your competitors starting with Leicester next Saturday . Another bonus for you could be if SWP became match fit during the loan and impressed you would have another interesting option in the play offs should you need it.

A match fit SWP is not a bonus, which you will find out if he goes to the Valley.
