Strangely, the norm when I post even the biggie Birthdays, the Club doesn't bother

Forgetting andrewqpr's birthday by 18 days was bad enough(sorry maude only joking) but this is truly taking the piss, you would have thought if your job is the stat man then treble checking might have been a good idea to save looking a right plonker. dear old Derek Buxton would never have made an error like that.
By the way did this board have a stat man of its own?

We did have several (including vaguely myself.) But especially Harlow who used to post some very interesting stuff- and was actually a Board moderator. He sadly left us about a year ago ( resigning I think, it was over him perceiving this board as too negative,) A departure we all regretted. If he's posting anywhere else I'm not aware of it. he would of course be welcome back,
I just found the club posting Happy Birthday to Digby a little strange because no offense to Dfgby, they didn't do a Happy 65th Birthday to Bowles or 80th to Bedford or 75th to Lazarus - and since they read this board, tweets, obviously the info was there for them to do. (Sometimes they seem to take cues from here, even if they don't attribute; but often not)

I would suggest to the club statistician that he could do worse than get hold of Gordon Macey's "Queen's Park Rangers - The Complete Record". It's all in there, accurate dates of birth included. No disrespect intended to Mr Digby but I take Mac's point as he only played 20 times for us.
