PUBLISHED 13:12 8th November 2013 by @officialqpr Rangers to commemorate Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day at Reading ... QPR will commemorate Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day at our Sky Bet Championship fixture against Reading on Saturday. In honour of those servicemen and women who have given their lives for peace, R’s striker Charlie Austin and his teammates will wear a special one-off shirt carrying a poppy. Austin told http://www.qpr.co.uk: “It’s important that we pay our respects as players and a club to those that have sacrificed their lives. “Those in the armed forces and their families are heroes and hopefully we can help raise awareness for the Poppy Appeal at the same time.” Following the conclusion of Saturday’s game the shirts will be signed before being sent to The Royal British Legion to auction. The proceeds will go to the Poppy Appeal. Read more at www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/081113-poppy-shirts-1162897.aspx#OJjdm7s27K9kDbss.99

Anything to do with the poppy wouldn't stand out on the red part of the red/black hoops?
