It is an image that will last in all of our memories forever. Jamie Mackie, after another lung busting burst through the heart of the Manchester City defence, soaring through the air to meet Armand Traore’s pin point cross and burying his header past Joe Hart to give Q.P.R., depleted by Joey Barton’s mindless dismissal, an incredibly unlikely lead over the champions elect. Although City struck back with two desperately late strikes, I believe that news of Mackie’s goal broke Bolton’s resolve and condemned them to relegation in our place. Yeah he came off the bench as a sub which he doesn't want to be. He'd only be a sub in my team from the squad now and that's before any new arrivals. Good luck to him, what has been "ludicrous" is some of the reaction, that's been bordering on embarrassing.
