From what I can gather, the tour of Austria has been a sucess. There would appear to be a more togetherness within the squad, plus giving players not in last years team when we were relegated a chance seems to have helped.
The question that I would like to know the answer to is:-
Did Harry have imput in to the team selection or was this in the hands of Steve McClaren? I hope Harry was involved as it would be great to see Suk Young, Ehmer, Harriman, Faurlin & Sutherland in the match squad of 18 when we play Wednesday.
If these were solely the choices of McClaren, then we may have stumbled upon our next saviour (against all my expectations)!
I assume that we will be close to playing our strongest side at Southend on Friday & so the choice of players will be very interesting.
I don't expect it, but I would love to see the following:-
Green or Murphy, Simpson, Onhuha, Ehmer, Suk Young, Park or Jenas, Granero or Derry, Faurlin, Sutherland, Remy & Johnson.
Plus any new signings to be included!

I am assuming Harry had some input on the squad. I am just glad to see some of young players getting a chance whether they make the squad or not, although atleast Sutherland and Suk Young deserve to. While we won't really know if the preseason was success until the real season begins, it does seem to have atleast pointed out who doesn't care to play here anymore.
