There has been a lot of comment on the boards today about TF and the Mirror article and blame aimed at either Warnock or Hughes.
It's always easy to blame someone else.
But I'd love a response from TF on is this.
Who at Board level allowed the football Agent, Kia Joorabchian to 'earn' from transfers instigated at QPR, fees of £7,100,000?
Who allowed Hughes, represented by Joorabchian to sign players and backroom staff that were also tied to this Agent?
Given that say the average season ticket is £650 per season this equates to the entire revenue of 11,000 season ticket holders.
Tony, how did you or your team allow this to happen?

Given that say the average season ticket is £650 per season this equates to the entire revenue of 11,000 season ticket holders. Tony, how did you or your team allow this to happen? He's not an agent. From his Wikipedia page: Although routinely described in the press as a football agent, Joorabchian is not a licensed agent. The involvement of unlicensed agents in transfers in the English Premier League is prohibited by the Football Association.Joorabchian does not himself claim to be an agent, saying "I think the agency business is very different". He describes his business as advising players on their rights and clubs on transfers and contracts.
Joorabchian is also involved in the 'third-party' ownership of players, describing himself as an investment manager. In October 2008, he said, "I manage the investment group and obviously when the investment group is profitable, as fund manager, you also get a cut". In 2009 it was reported that the unnamed investors represented by Joorabchian were understood to own the economic rights to 60 or 70 players across Europe and South America.Effectively this this gives him a wider scope in negotiations as it allows him to advise both parties in a deal and thereby earn a cut from both for advisory fees! A licensed agent would be prohibited from doing that as it's clearly a conflict of interest and as it's an FA rule as well the club should have known better than to adopt a transfer policy where that was allowed to happen several times. The board's naivety was highlighted by Warnock recently by saying that Joorabchian exploited them. The board have returned fire by stating that they left those decisions to the football people and just blindly signed contracts and cheques, apparently. He'll look to blame the people that have gone and promise us a better future. Again.

OK Mac I'll email the question.....but will it get an answer? I am in the US so can you listen out for me please?
Mark, thanks for the heads up on the difference between an Agent and Third Party but the question remains the same.
How in God's name can TF allow this kind of expenditure to happen?
Rigg was employed at £300k pa, doubling his salary from Man City....again if I can find this stuff out without too much trawling who has had any form of financial control at the Club?
It is madness and absolutely no one benefits that actually cares about the Club.
