Just watched the game in the USA and after 50 years of following QPR don't think I've ever been as disgusted as I am today. What were those morons doing? What was all the laughter at the end of the game about? Fernandez must start again. Rednapp and his cronies in the backroom have proved that they are as useless as Hughes and must go. What do Jordan, Bond and Cotteral do? The performance today was shameful and disgraceful to the name of football let alone QPR. To be relegated is bad enough but to be relegated in such as fashion is totally unacceptable. Tony Fernandez, get some football people in the business, get rid of the ridiculous Phil Beard and start again. This bunch of people will not get us out of this disaster they will just blame the ref, the ball, previous management, the pitch but NEVER themselves. Start again and create a team of players that actually want to play football with passion and commitment. ACT NOW Act NOW.

Don't agree with getting rid of Redknapp but do feel as disgusted with the teams performance today. There was no urgency and got the impression that the players didn't realise that a draw was not good enough.ie taking their time with throw ins and goal kicks. And as for Bosingwa laughing as he goes down the tunnel, well that just sums that lazy scum w*****'s season up. He is the first player I am hoping to see the back of.

They are probably pleased that it is all over. A win would only have prolonged relegation until tomorrow evening.
Before hand, a nil nil draw seemed the most likely & that's what the game deserved.
Please give others a chance in the last three games!

Watching that performance today and the following mass exodus down the tunnel is up there with one of the most ashamed I have been of the club in two decades of support. Inept, gutless but most of all embarrassing. Reading are relegated because they just aren't good enough. We got relegated because we simply could not be F***ing bothered.

Meh.
We were down long before today was is the point of a false show of sadness?
Got to face the reality that no one cares about the club apart from the supporters.

I think Camel has hit the nail on the head there.
Didn't see the game but I have seen all the highlights and I got the impression that both teams just wanted to be put out of their misery as quickly as possible - and settled for the draw very early in the game.
Let's be honest not many of the QPR players have given a stuff all season - why should it have changed now?
That said, I have been disgusted all season if truth be said. Today was hardly a surprise. I expected a 0-0 draw and wasn't surprised by the reaction afterwards.

The way right at the start that Bosingwa gave the ball away, I thought some Indian bookies might have been involved. I've seen a wet bus ticket give stronger resistance.

We were always down from way back with Hughes etc , in a way im glad its over cos we badly need a clean out . I think HR should stay but have the balls to get rid of the shite and get in whoever will fight to wear the hooped shirt with pride regardless of their experience . Yes lets give the youngsters a chance , cannot possibly do worse can they . All the years waiting to get in the prem and this bunch a c**ts show us up big time overpaid tossers .

Would the previous board have wasted this much money?

Serious question Would the previous board have wasted this much money? Probably not, but then, it's not just about investment levels, it's about football knowledge and spending that money sensibly. Previous board probably would not have released the kinds of funds Hughes wanted, so less money wasted - but then he may well have spent the reduced amount on crap signings. Not a footballing brain between the old owners so no guarantee that less money would equal sensible buying. Current board gave Hughes all the funds he desired and he splashed it all away on absurd high-value, poor performing players with little to no re-sale value for the most part. Still think it is worth pointing out again that as poor as Hughes was his demands would have been laughed out of the board room at clubs like West Brom, Swansea or Norwich. So yeah, old board probably wouldn't have wasted as much, but no guarantee we'd have survived. It's a false comparison in many ways - you can have crap boards who spend a lot and crap boards who spend very little. Massive grey area.

well warnock tried to buy the likes of graham, mcanuff, williamss..etc etc. all young, hungry players. but bernie didnt release funds cos off the takeover.
and then fernandes told warnock who to buy after the good ones had been snapped up, as we know, all wasters, like barton swp, ferdinand etc etc. and then it snow balled with hughes.
that point in time is where the failure of our present team derives from.

+1
-Taking a look at TF at the Reading game made me think the bloke is totally out of his depth and he should stick to running his budget airline etc. It was embarrassingly obvious during the game that many of our so called players were not bothered and were hardly trying. Is that not apparent to TF? Does he not realize rewarding failure should not be an option?

Having spent 24 hrs on a plane with Tony, Kamarubin and Ruben just 2 weeks ago I can tell you that they are more determined than ever to get it right at QPR.
They know they have made mistakes and have learned some lessons - ' F'ing expensive lessons'. They also know that they have some disruptive players in the dressing room and that the mind set of many of the players is at fault. There are a number of players that they, as a board, are very very disappointed with. Watch the transfer window for exits!!
If supporters knew of the obstacles and problems put in their way by the Malaysian government and others over the past 10 yrs and how they never gave up, never surrendered, in making Air Asia a success, then you would realise that these guys WILL not give up. They WILL get it right. They are here for the long term.
Relegation was not in their plans. It will cost them an awful lot of money but failure is not an option for them.
To those that are forever criticising, back off. I suggest that as supporters we should give them constructive feedback not destructive comments.
We all want the same thing, a successful QPR. We all just have our own differing opinions on how that can/should come about. the difference is they have the multi millions that can make it happen. We do not!

They have not. -"failure is not an option"...what?...they have failed already! - and right...most of us do not have the multi millions but at least we care about our team. They have wasted millions and left us with a side that looks like it will struggle in the lower division. -And as for you mm2h, kindly stop from trying to be an apologist for the incompetent losers who own and run OUR club.

It was incompetent, lazy free loading players that got us relegated. When you think about it, the club backed the signings in the belief they might perform. Sadly, the players knowing they were on a gravey train, showed their true abilities and intentions - milk it for what it's worth.

Fernandes fumes at money grabbers who have not given their all 29 Apr 2013 22:30
'It has shocked me because it is something that is alien to me. Whatever I have done as a job... I put in 150 per-cent' says Malaysian
Angry Tony Fernandes has blasted the QPR wage-thieves that have ripped the Premier League heart out of the club.
In a blistering attack, the fed-up QPR owner laid into the some of the stars he feels have taken his cash but gone through the motions as the Hoops’ crashed out of the top flight.
Fernandes fumed: "Its an alien concept to me that someone takes someone's salary, doesn't put in 100percent and thinks: 'Oh, we lost. No big deal. What club are we going to tonight.'"
Keeper Julio Cesar was pictured partying at the birthday bash of Chelsea defender David Luiz last week while defender Jose Bosingwa was pictured smiling as relegation was confirmed at Reading on Sunday.
Fernandes added: "It has shocked me because it is something that is alien to me.
"Whatever I have done as a job, for whoever has hired me, I put in 150 per-cent. It's in my character."
The Malaysian businessman has persuaded boss Harry Redknapp to stay with a brutal package of cuts to rid the club of its troublemakers and underachievers soaking up the wage bill.
Redknapp had claimed, after taking over from Mark Hughes last November, that Fernandes had had his "pants pulled down" over several deals since taking over at Loftus Road.
Fernandes claims to have learned his lesson and admitted his resentment has been simmering while watching some of the players take him for a ride.
He added: "I haven't said it throughout the season because it wasn't right to be said.
"But it hurt me when I saw some of the players who didn't feel the way I felt.
"And in fact, in their case, it should be worse because this is their job, it's their life.
"It wasn't a good feeling. It was probably the low point for me when I saw the reaction of some of the players."
Bosingwa, hugely unpopular with the squad at Loftus Road, has had offers from the Middle East and is among a string of players who will be offered to other clubs in a bid to raise cash to fund pay-off for other players.
Adel Taarabt is another set to be sold with Cesar understood to be talking to clubs in Serie A about a return to Italy.
But Redknapp will try to keep defender Christopher Samba and midfielder Jermaine Jenas.
Fernandes added: "If I am taking someone else's money, then I am going to work bloody hard for that person.
"It wasn't right to say anything during the season, but I noticed everything and I am a little bit wiser for it now."
To be honest, I agree with Fernandez & Redknapp on this. It's the players that got us in this mess by not applying themselves to their best abilities. At work I give my best, my boss pays me to. If any of the F***ers had a conscience, they'd feel guilty and refund a large chunk of their monies received. They won't, they don't have to, but in the old days, they would have been called "Charletons" which in essence is what they are.

I have to say, as disappointed I am in Fernandes for signing these players, he is just as upset as we are, you could read it on his face at the game. Hopefully he takes a much different approach to this next transfer window and they head the right direction for the Championship. He just needs to realize there are no short roads back to the premier league, but if he does it right he can give himself a chance and if he fails, as long as they stay in the Championship they will have another chance the next season. The only problem at the current moment is will they be able to get rid of these scumbags.
As far as the game, yeah it was hard to watch. Call me a poor fan or whatever, but I don't think I can watch this team until this season is over. If they put in some of the kids I will probably watch, but not the current squad.

If Fernandes believes what he has said and genuinely has learned the lesson then this is at least a very big step in the right direction.
This offseason will tell us how much of a lesson is learned but fair play to him for coming out and giving the underperforming mercenaries both barrels.
I've said several times that there are players they need to get rid of and subsidize the wages of the big earners who other clubs will be prepared to take but not on the salaries we are paying them. Don't bother loaning them out either. Just get rid at the best price possible. They need to be completely removed from anything and everything associated with this club.
To keep these players on in the NPC would be absolutely ludicrous and almost surely ensure that we will be in another relegation battle next season.

If Fernandes is truthful in that article then perhaps he should have shut his trap on twitter and not gone on about keeping the faith. Because now he is coming across as insulting and treating us like idiots. Fans have been saying for ages what he is now saying and he dismissed it and kept on about keeping the faith. Didn't he even make a comment about fans being more loyal or something?
Also some of these players weren't just bought this season. So it's obvious that he never learnt from last season either. So this is big talk now. But he should have been making such comments when we survived at the end of last season and not now. relegation may well be a blessing in disguise if it forces changes on the way they develop the team. Because I will bet any money that if we had survived this season that he wouldn't be saying this now and he would make the same mistakes all over again next season.
I am not a Fernandes hater. But he needs to fix up soon, before I turn into one. QPR fans aren't idiots so he should stop with all the patronising bullsh*t and stop treating us like we are.
