Wonder how old the photo is and if it's fake. If it's recent and not fake we should have seen the last of him

Think it's very real/ and very recent Not the biggest deal in the whole world, but sure symbolizes and exemplifies so much of our problem at QPR. Mail QPR keeper Cesar appears at Luiz's party in a Chelsea shirt... as Blues stars dress up By John Drayton PUBLISHED:06:27 EST, 23 April 2013| UPDATED: 07:01 EST, 23 April 2013 Comments (6) QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar won't have impressed Rangers fans by wearing a Chelsea shirt at David Luiz's birthday party. The Brazilian Blues defender turned 26 yesterday and his compatriot who plays for their west London rivals donned enemy colours. Harry Redknapp's side are virtually relegated but Cesar put Premier League woe to one side as he enjoyed himself at the party. West London rivalries: Julio Cesar (left) pictured in a Chelsea shirt at David Luiz's (centre) birthday party How many Chelsea players can you spot? Paulo Ferrerira as Robin (bottom left), Oscar as Zorro (centre), Eden Hazard in a Brazil shirt (right), Nathan Ake as Superman (top right), Ramires and Luiz as Chelsea Pensioners (centre)... and is that Henrique Hilario (left) as a pilot? His wife Susana Werner posted the picture on her Instagram account and others from the bash surfaced too - including Gary Cahill in a not-very-fetching baby outfit. Youngster Nathan Ake turned up as Superman, while birthday boy Luiz and his good friend Ramires seemed to be dressed as Chelsea pensioners. Stalwart right-back Paulo Ferreira was Robin but Batman was nowhere to be seen - and Oscar turned up as Zorro - perhaps inspired by the mask that his colleague Fernando Torres has been wearing recently. Don't eat too much! Luiz had two cakes including one with the word 'geezer' on Robin Hood? Marko Marin with Luiz, dressed in a little green outfit More... To be honest I think everyone needs to get over this. Seen some reactions on Twitter that are way over the top. All he's doing is taking the piss out if his mate. I'm sure all of Brazil are pissed off at him too for wearing a St George's day wig

On a scale of whatever to whatever, I think it's not great...But there's so much that's not great. It shows poor judgement, lack of concern, etc, etc. But there's so much from so many of our signings this year... I havent been happy with quite a number of things... - including relegation...So this is just one thing out of many. (I found Prince Harry's action a lot more repugnant)

Let's all over react why not? I found Marks excuse to be the most plausible. If that pic had been published in one of our match programmes, I might have felt differently, but what he does in his own time is his business.
Players that play for us often support other teams, should we get rid of them just for that??

What it does show is what happens when you abandon all tradition at a club and hire only mercenaries.

Double standards I feel! At least TF has actually tried, more than any of our players, I'd like to see cesar gone anyway he's really not that good and at least green doesn't go round in scum shirts

What a sad state of affairs things have got to for people to get upset about a goalkeeper wearing a football kit with his wife and children to mimic his mate at a family fancy dress party. Also, for the club to make such a big deal of it and release a statement, just ads to the embarrassing season QPR FC have had.
95% of football players don't give a shite about the club they play for, or the fans, they just care about the money they can get and the lifestyle the lead. They way people have had a hissey fit over something so innocent, is nearly as laughable as some of our performance this season.

Sorry Paul, if the fans stop caring then the players never will and the club might as well curl up and die. And if the management didn't deal with it in some way it would look like they didn't care, as well.
Google QPR this morning and all you will find is column, after column, after column on this... The press are having party – complete with clown wigs and Samsung shirts!
Cesar's utter naivety (and I'm being kind classing it as that) has turned us from gentle laughingstock to comedy obliteration, overnight. It's the car crash that ends a disastrous season littered with breakdowns and scrapes on the way. It's even managed to upstage the Fangtastic Suarez story, for goodness sake.
I'm doing my best to laugh it off, but the truth is everyone else in football is laughing AT us, not with us.

What's interesting is whether Cesar actually did anything "wrong" that the club could actually fine him for.

What's interesting is whether Cesar actually did anything "wrong" that the club could actually fine him for. There's no way he's done anything fineable by the club, it's not like he's gone out in nazi attire (i know its the scum but seriously come on!) It was a joke, he's not a scum fan he was at a scum players party... I still think we should get rid though and play green next year (we'll probably have no choice anyway) Of course if cesar comes out and says he wants to stay and take s apay cut my opinion of him will change completly!

Some real OTT reactions on here if you ask me! Why should the picture be removed from some woman's instagram as well? The picture that appeared on official circles of the table tennis kids in scum shirts was far more annoying and offensive and done by "one of our own"!!!

When I first saw the photo I thought "oh my god just what we need something else for them to take the p**s out of us about" Now having thought about it more I'm not to bothered as this is a Brasillian player who has played most of his career in Italy so why would he know how much we hate them. some may say he should have found out but he's a guy having a day out with his family at his mates birthday party and I'm sure we've all done things at parties we've regretted after. I know I have(but not wearing a scum shirt. promise) so lets cut the guy a bit of slack and rise above it. We must also remember we have had many ex-Chelsea players who have wore the Hoops later in their careers and we have mostly excepted them with no problem.(not Bosingwa)and the more we go on about it the more childish we look.

Want him gone because he hasn't played that well, he's on massive money & I can't get the picture out of my mind of him laughing with a Wigan player after the draw!!!! That was a massive game for us & I was crying tears of anger that we blew it!!! I expect the players to like they actually a S##T at such a huge loss..........& that reaction from him just about said it all to me!!!........He can dress like Prick at a million parties for all I care............I just want him to care about the club & his role as a keeper!!!.........There was NOTHING to laugh about after that match!!!! Unless he feels that championship football status is better than being in the best league in the world!!!

I don't care who he hangs out with in his social life and yes, it is only natural that he would hang out with his fellow countrymen irrespective who they play for. It's natural and he is entitled to his life, just like anybody else.
That all said can you imagine a Spurs player doing a similar thing - pitching up to a party wearing an Arsenal shirt or a Manure player wearing a Liverpool or Man City shirt at his mates party? No I didn't think so either.
Yes, I understand QPR vs Chelsea is hardly Inter vs AC Milan or say Flamengo vs Vasco or Fluminense, but he has been at QPR for nearly a season and surely by now he must have picked up that there is some vibe between Chelsea and QPR? At the very least a victory at their dump, and what it meant to the fans, must have switched on a couple of lightbulbs.
I don't for one minute read anything between his performances and wearing THAT shirt - and nor do I interpret as him wanting to move to our neighbours. However it does show bad judgement and ignorance on his part.
Again not a serious life or death issue, but it does highlight what I and many other fans have felt about this team all season - when you get mercenaries, you get players who just don't give a stuff who they are playing for.
