well he's definitely crocked, for how long we dont know but its going to be AT LEAST 6 weeks I think. Thats a lot of missed games and a lot of potential goals against the clubs around us that we won't be scoring....step up Sir Betty!! ;D

Re: Cissé
"Harry Redknapp has allowed the 31-year-old to leave after he was deemed surplus to requirements following the £8million signing of Loic Remy." (DM)
Unfortunately Cissé is (was) our only proven EPL class striker (excl. maybe Johnson). Without Remy Looks like the best we can hope for is a series of 0-0 draws ...

The only option we are left with until Remy recovers is to play Tarbs higher up the pitch along with Zamora..........After the Swansea match he'll have a break so I would hope will be able start a match rather than come on as a sub becuase of his recent hip op!!!..............No other choice really unless Arry is going to gamble on DJ or Jay with Zamora or them both together!!!

If Remy's injury persists I think we'll probably keep doing what we seemed to do against Norwich. Survive until half time and rely on Taarabt or other attacking midfielders to create some magic, and then bring on Zamora to lead the line in the second half and go for it.

But to quote Redknapp re Cisse a couple of days ago: "I would have let him go earlier. I had to wait for the window to open,"

why not start with DJ or bothroyd as they are both center forwards who are 100% fit .... jamie is not a center foward ,so even though neither of them are premiership quality CF's , i feel we should start with one of them and then change it up when zamora comes on. we might even be surprised with one of them stepping up to the plate and banging in a few goals.

For whatever reason, Redknapp apparently doesnt rate DJ Campbell.

Zamora is complete crap god knows why we got him .................useless imo Zamora is absolutely fantastic at what he does. He's not the 20-goal scorer -- this was supposed to be Remy. He makes everyone better: he wins balls in the air (how many times did he win us possession on long-balls in the second half against Norwich??), he holds the ball up well and brings attacking midfielders into the fray, he moves extremely well without the ball and opens up space for dangerous runs, he hustles and defends (more than could be said for Cisse). He's the perfect matching pair for a player like Remy or Johnson
