Like many others, I do not expect anything from Old Trafford but what I really want to see is a side that will not capitulate & give maximum effort no matter what the score is.
With that in mind I ask which players would you like to see play on saturday & who would you not like to be in the squad? You can't list players who we could not select (Young & Cerny, not in the 25, Fabio, loaned from United, Johnson, injured etc)?
I'll start it off with the following to be in the squad:-
Dyer, Hill, Nelsen, Derry, Diatike, Faurlin, Tarrabt, Mackie, Ephraim & Taarabt.
To be left in London:-
Cisse, Bosingwa & Zamora.
I know I've not named a team to play & there is no goalkeeper or an out & out forward, but at least I think these ten would all meet my criteria (yes, even Dyer).
Players like Traore may have to be selected for team balance but perhaps Ehmer etc should be considered.

Much as I admire the spirit and attitude of Derry, Hill and Ephraim I'm afraid they are not really PL players and we should look to replace them in January or July. Ehmer is probably not ready yet. We have full backs that can't defend - Fabio, Traore. The ones that can (and that is debatable) are awful going forward - Bosingwa, Onouhra. Maybe Dyer should be given a chance at RB? Nelsen is solid but we don't have a dominant CB. The closest thing to it is Mbia and thankfully he's back as Ferdinand is not dominant enough. Ferdinand may be able to play effectively alongside someone like Samba who is dominant but until we get someone in he should be on the bench. Why did we buy Onouhra if he can't play FB properly? Maybe he is a better CB than Anton? Granero has to play in the middle, not out on the right. Sorry Ale but you'll have to be on the bench as we can't fit you both in. Cisse has to play as, bar Mackie, he is our only fit striker if what I've heard about Zamora is true.
After a private rollocking (Bosingwa especially) I think the team will be: Cesar Bosingwa/Nelsen/Mbia/Traore Diakite/Granero Park (if fit, otherwise Mackie or Dyer)/Taarabt/Hoilett Cisse
Green/Onouhra/Ferdinand/Derry/Faurlin/Mackie/Dyer. SWP if Park unfit.
That is proabably the best available team we have (if they play to their potential) and I think they will be given one more chance (like Hughes). I believe that Zamora - who has been struggling with a hip injury - is out for 3 months. If not then he will start in place of Cisse.

Im getting to stage where i dont really care who plays if honest Just want a win by hook or by crook and the 11 players that do wear the Blue and White Hoops to actually show some passion and fight for a change instead of looking like a training exercise . Whatever happens to Hughes this week some of those Players should feel pretty ashamed too but guess they just see the next installment in the bank ? 12 games without a win , pathetic really

Actually expect them all to raise their game: Not because of Hughes - or because they're ashamed - but because this is MANCHESTER UNITED. So they'll be showing off (or auditioning)....
