10 Years ago. Not an earth-shattering piece, but memorable. but struck me as so summing things at QPR ... (Before...and maybe after) One of the "catchiest" opening sentences I can recall "QPR. What a mess. What an utter mess" TIME OUT/Noam Friedlander - Coca-Cola Championship Queens Park Rangers v Cardiff City Sat Nov 8, 2008 Rangers Stadium, South Africa Rd, W12 7PAยท " QPR. What a mess. What an utter mess. Having fired Iain Dowie, the club is currently stuttering along with Gareth Ainsworth in charge. As a player, Ainsworth gave his all; since many of the current squad played alongside him, they know that he would demand nothing less from his squad. However, the managerial ins and outs at the club are something Rangers fans are having to come to terms with and, while he wouldn't be the worst choice in the world, if the side are truly aiming to fly high and match the glamour that Bernie Ecclestone and Flavio Briatore bring to the club, he won't last long. A shame. A shame about Dowie, too. Without meaning to sound ungrateful for the cash that the boardroom fat cats have pumped into the club, things really don't look positive in this part of west London just now." - Time Out -[About Noam Friedlander (thanks to the poster who provided the link) - ] - [Share your views about QPR matters at the QPR Report Messageboard] qprreport.blogspot.com/2008/11/qpr-what-mess-what-utter-mess.html

But exciting times too. Remember the confirmed fan who had a private talk with Paolo Sousa, on the goings on,
and his dismissal. A great soap opera, episode after episode.
