I'd be very happy with 4 points off the mugs down the road and safety before the last day.

A nice calm season where we can relax for the whole nine months. Never going to happen Terry. We are QPR, there is never a dull moment when you are QPR. Oh yes and we still have Joey (well at least at the moment), and Adel. They are not programed in the "calm" and "relax" mode!!!

After the drama of last season's relegation scrap I feel like mid table mediocrity would actually be kind of exciting - seeing the team grow, get consolidated in the league, seeing year on year progress. I like how a lot of neutrals see us as that nice little west london underdog side, but I think it will be good to see us perform alright next season and get treated with a bit more respect if that makes sense. It's decent people have a soft spot for Rs but a good season for me would be showing that we're no pushovers and deserve to stay in the prem.
Safety, taking points of Chelsea and Fulham, no massive humiliations would be great. Having the same kind of atmosphere we had at LR at the end of last season every game. Anything close to mid table and i'll be laughing.

Agree with most of the posters here. Mid table position and being safe by April (but never realistically looking like going down anyway) will suit me fine.
Would be even better if West Ham went down too, the cocky little gits.
The fixtures in April are very kind to us so, really, if we play to our potential, there is no need for us to have to go into those last 3 games in May needing points to survive.

Agree with never going under 15th position and never looking like it. Also getting extensions on Adel,s and Ali's contracts would make a great season

Mid-table:
following wins over Ch@#l#'#, Foolham and Norwich (i used to like them but now they just annoy me-or was it paul lambert? I'll find out this season) ashley young being red carded at loftus road for being caught diving twice in a match, cardiff getting relegated and joey barton winning the nobel peace prize. Anything else would be a bonus.

AJ's view in Sports Review
Queens Park Rangers can finish in the top ten, insists Andy Johnson Andrew Johnson has targeted a top-ten finish with QPR for next season, following his move from West London rivals Fulham
By TSR staff 10:11am UK, Wednesday 20 June 2012
Andy Johnson is relishing the chance to help Queens Park Rangers finish in the top ten next season after the former England international signed a two-year contract at Loftus Road on Monday.
The 31-year-old will link up with his former manager Mark Hughes on 1 July after sealing a move to the Hoops on a free transfer from Craven Cottage.
Johnson, who has scored 51 goals in 178 Premier League appearances, is eager to be part of an exciting new era at QPR, and insisted he will not be fazed by competition for places at the club.
“The aim for QPR is to not be in the same position that they were last year,” Johnson told QPR’s website.
“There’s a great squad here with some top players, who didn’t warrant being in the position that they were in on the final game of last season.
“The aim is to build on that and try and get the team in the top ten. “The club has got to be looking at finishing in the top ten next season with the money that’s being spent here and the players that they’re going to invest in. “With additions, the current squad and the management team that’s in place here, I don’t see any reason why we can’t. “There’s a great squad here with some top strikers – including Djibril Cissé. “It’s going to be tough in terms of competition, but that’s what you want. You want to be kept on your toes and you want to fight for your place. Healthy competition is good. It can only make you better and can only make the team improve.”
