Pro: We won't have to pay any compensation to Lecce.
Cons: Too many points lost from a winning position. Not respected by our players last time around. Can't effectively communicate with the players.

Not sure if this is a pro or con, but would fit well into the current Briatore - Paladini way of operating QPR

If you take his 1.38 points per game average from last season that would have placed QPR 7th in the currently table, extrapolating to a full season. So...
Pro: Possible better league position. More entertaining. Con: Still not enough to get promoted!

Pro: (and feel free to correct me here - I could definitely be wrong) he started with a weak squad and did ok with them, e.g. players like Timoska, Barker; Bolder, Malcolm, Nygaard, Rehman. I don't think that there are players of that standard currently in the squad. I know that he had a fit Buzsaky and Leigertwood, but he had some pretty bad players also.
Con: Harford led the way with that same squad (minus Buzsaky) and probably got better results.

Harford got a couple of 1-0 wins and we played nice football. He didn't get long though. Hard to tell how it would have turned out.
Pro: De Canio waves when you sing his name. Con: De Canio waves EVERY time you sing his name - even if you do it 45 times in a half!

But 6pts from last 6 games with Buzz & Vine is relegation form Seasons aren't played over 6 games though (nor 35 admittedly). True but I think eusebio's point is that De Canio's record was good when he had a full fit squad but as soon as we had injuries we went backwards. De Canio is remembered by some as a saviour where actually he got found out as soon as he lost his best players. I've no reason not to think that a full fit squad under De Canio will play entertaining football and will get results. But what happens if we have injuries like this season? Will he get found out again? All speculation of course. If we re-appoint LDC then we have to give him a squad (not just a team) of Championship quality players so that if we have major injuries we have ready made replacements.

I'm in two minds because I want a manager who will last all 46 matches but at the same time I want Warnock but I think he would get treated the same way as Dowie if things don't go according to plan.
