Thanks Adam. I think I was at that game. Plymouth had a midfielder Norman Piper...who then went to Portsmouth. And for the longest time we were linked with signing him. (Sort of a Division II Alan Ball!)
I know for sure I was at a QPR-Plymouth game a few years later - League Cup 5th Round at Loftus Road in October? 1973. Gordon Jago's QPR with Bowles et al. Back in Division One. Plymouth in Division 3... Final score: QPR 0 Plymouth 3
