Can't believe people are getting so wound up by the kits. It's still blue and white and still hooped, unlike Reading. You are right Rory. Bugger the kit support the team.

The problem is with the Lotto template which appears to be inclusive of a thin stripe across the chest. It's more obvious in the away shirt but I'm guessing that it's the reason for the thin hoops (to incorporate the template).
I'm wondering what it would be like if they had put a couple of thicker hoops below the thin one.

I think that would look a bit odd. This is the last year of Lotto so let's hope for Adidas, Nike or Umbro.

They look fine to me. I'll prob buy that home kit. As long as the team performs to their ability next season, that's all that matters anyway. COYRs!!!

Can't believe people are getting so wound up by the kits. It's still blue and white and still hooped, unlike Reading. I agree entirely Rory. What matters is what they do on the field, not what they are wearing - just as long as it isn't orange or whatever that is called. I'm with Gramps and Rory. Think the orange was called Tangellow or something equally stupid. Anyway it was horrible and by the end of the season we were playing horribly in it.

Disappointing. Not the end of the world, though. As a Graphic Designer for over 15 years the best ideas don't always get approval in time. When they do get approval 'by them upstairs' 'they' always think they know better and 'designed it'.
I'm hoping next year we'll get a better one for those that don't like it. Don't blame the kid at LOTTO, blame the Client that said 'yeah, that will do'
All this kitchat will be forgotten once we start the new season....

This happens every year though, a majority of fans hate the kits when they come out then once the season has started it grows on them.
Think the red Air Asia logo looks great on blue and white hoops, so glad we got rid of that horrible Malaysia Air stick in sponsor.

One thing I don't understand is why Air Asia who no longer fly into London (or anywhere in Eurpoe for that matter) would want to sponsor all our strips. It would be really interesting to find out exactly what the deal is. I would trust it is all above board and that QPR are getting the best sponsorship deal possible.

Are we (QPR) getting what we should be getting out of sponsorship, or are we getting less because Air Asia is owned by TF.

I've been reading this board for almost four years.
In 2009, we were unhappy with the kit because the badge was in the middle of the chest and not on the left hand side.
In 2010, we complained because the hoops were too thick, because they were only three of them, and they didn't go all the way round the shirt as hoops should.
In 2011, we complained because they were no shirt, then no sponsor, and then we were just happy that the players weren't nude on the pitch after all this drama.
Two conclusions are possible. The first is that Lotto make poor kits, which is quite true. But the second is that we are rarely happy with the new kits, because we get used to the old ones and always find the new ones kinda weird at first.
My Opinon is that the Away kit is not fabulous, but nothing to complain about. It's red. End of. The Home kit is good looking from my point of view. He looks good. BUT I understand that most of you are complaining, because we are more used to see our kits with four thicker hoops. I would also have preferred a more traditional shirt, but now that it's done, I'm sure the kit will grow on us. It's not as bad as it seems.
Next year, I want the menace, and we'll probably wear the menace, and thicker hoops I'm sure. But now, we can't change so let's stop moaning and get on with it!

A third conclusion Jo.....................people like to moan!

Haha Jon, only too true! The problem is that we LOVED to moan about Flavio... And now that we've got Tony, we have less reason to moan, so we complain at every single possible occasion...

I don't think it's moaning:
They go to some effort to make a shirt. Why not make it a QPR-looking shirt? Does Blue cloth cost more than white cloth?
