Please feel free to merge this with another thread if you wish.
I wish like mad that we will still be in the Premier come 5.00 today but in case things do go wrong I would like to make the following thanks & observations.
Firstly a very big thank you to Tony Fernandes. Whoever had bought our club from those c's would have had my eternal gratitude but to have come into the club & laid down the plans for our future has exceeeded my wildest dreams. Also thanh you to the Mittals for continuing their support.
Next a thank you to Mark Hughes. Not everything has gone right since you arrived but I believe that you have laid the foundations on the pitch for a bright future, whichever division we are in.
The players. Many a time I have given up hope this season only for us to dig out a result that has prolonged the hope (or agony). This is mainly summed up by the Liverpool game. We were 100% down after 75 mins. & have since made Loftus Road a fortress.
Thanks to the players who were with us last season & have stepped up to the plate. Hill, Derry, Mackie, Adel, HH, Cerny & certainly Ale I salute you.
To the supporterrs. I believe that we have grown closer to the club as the season has grown & that we are now back to approaching the mood of the play offs & the following promotion season.
Also thank you to all members of this board. At times some of us (you!) have lost it but we are always united with our love for Queens Park Rangers & we all ony wany the best for our club.
So, come 5.00 we will know our immediate future. However, our long term future is not in doubt. We will continue to improve as a club because as all of us know
"We're Queens Park Rangers, the greatest football CLUB the world has ever seen"
