My post on Sunday was from the heart.
Supporting the R's for 50 years, I couldn't stay anymore at Stamford Bridge and left at 5-0.
Was I a bad supporter for leaving before the end?
I don't think so.
It didn't help that my tickets were in the East Stand about as close to their end as you could possibly get.
I'm sure those watching on Sky found it horrible but being there and being at that end of the ground was 10x worse.
But 4 days later and with Spurs regaining some of their form now 'Arry's not gonna manage Ingerland' we still have a chance to avoid the drop.
Let no-one think that a drop down to the Championship will be good for the Club. It won't.
If we do go down I really fear that we'll go the way of Coventry rather than Norwich.
So despite what my head said after that pathetic performance on Sunday that we were doomed, today I believe I feel a little more optimistic.
I believe that the players cannot perform as badly again.
I believe that we will concentrate from the first to the last minute.
I believe that Mark Hughes doesn't think that Cisse is a left midfielder.
I believe that Diakate will be fit to play.
AND
WE can make a difference on Sunday.
We can really be the 12 man that inspires the players to perform, support in a way that perhaps we haven't done for a while. Total support for the team from all sides of the ground, even the old gits like me that are sometimes a bit quiet. Let's all make it as noisy and uplifting for our players as it is as hostile as possible for Stoke.
Forget our differences on who should perform and give 90 minutes that WE can be proud of.
Do I think we can beat Stoke?
TOGETHER I believe we can.
