Presently the stadium holds 3,500 people. Opened in 1926 as a multi-sport venue of the domestic sport giant Botev Plovdiv. In 1949 the stadium was nationalized by the communist authorities and later same year it was given to then established Spartak. In the period 1982-1984 Spartak Stadium was redeveloped. It is named after the greatest player in the club's history Todor Diev (1934-1995). Also midtable in the 2nd tier ;D good spot! ,looking at their history, a dictatorship did the stadium up too.
