My final note as its back to my retirement tomorrow. 46 years in the Loft. Have been in Lower Loft since its inception. Not any communication historically from the club even when it was first designated a family stand. My son/s have been coming with me since they were 4/5 years old. They qualified then, BUT NOT NOW as they are clearly older than 8. WHY is this? They are my family and this is a family stand..... The club have now advised me that as my son (now 22 and sits next to Jamie Mackie44) has two children we can register one or both and continue to sit in the Lower Loft. Both are under 8 years old. My lawyer reviewed the terms and conditions. I can take up my two seats at £599 plus two free seats for my grandchildren. GUESS WHAT!!!!. Neither have to attend one game under the T&C's. YES, two empty seast, but I am sorted. I get to keep my Lower Loft seats/position of 46 years. And yes, neither child will attend any games. For the record. NOT MY FAULT. The club have been idiots in their planning and management desion making. And YES. I have personally spoken with Philllip Beard and made this point clear. He just looked somewhat blank back at my son and myself. Ahhhhhh. Back to retirement.

Yup I am here and keeping an eye on this thread. My stance is that there needs to be a family area and that it needs to be respected by all fans. I am not a strong advocate or opponent of any particular location becoming that family area. I would sway towards the R Block as a better home but also see the dilemma that the club is now in. With the decision made to make the lower loft a family area several years ago season ticket holders have been gradually moved out of that area and this is the final application of that policy. It is very tough to take if you believe this policy is wrong but unfortunately the time to act was when it was first announced and before anyone had yet moved. No season ticket holders in the lower loft have been moved anywhere until now, gradually or otherwise. It was simply a designation slapped on that area without thought only a couple of years or so ago. As many have said, if it's a family club then why do we need a specific family section anyway? OK I was just going by the club reply which was earlier in this thread. I had not read it again when I made that post but I have just checked it now and the line from which I inferred that season ticket holders had been moved is this one. Traditionally this was not a family area and it is still taking some time to move people who should perhaps be in other areas of the ground. But if this has not been the case then fair enough, it does suggest the way the club have approached all this needs looking it.

Not one person was contacted at that time to my knowledge and no-one to date has ever been moved on. Have a few left, maybe? I guess parents have been directed to the LL but still predominantly the same old faces of many a year. I am for a family area. Just not sure it can be a full stand given the size of the QPR seating available. I met Phillip Beard and put to him using the away end section of the Ellerslie Road and using those sections for now. Simply put. The commitment for a full stand should be for any new stadium and perhaps part of a stand now. Sleep well.

The latest seems to be that some fans without kiddies have managed to renew. They will just love a Saturday afternoon among hundred's of screaming kids. and the club have now stated that they will be writing to fans that have renewed in error to get them to move. What a monumental screw up all round. Only QPR......

Hi Roly, heard this too a few days ago, totally unreal, fans that should be there kicked out, others not but now will be, and all replaced with many empty seats because either adults wont want kids there to certain games ie midweek, winter etc, or those BAD adults who will claim seats for kids that they never intend bringing in the first place just so they can stay in the LL ........ major cock up !

I think you'll find that one incident being reported would not have resulted in this course of action Roley. I assume that's a little rev up.
