Need 4 as a minimum but i would say 6pts will be enough as i think we can beat Stoke and knick another point against Spurs, Chelski or City!

yep 4 points from these 2 games , doubt if Wigan get nowt from Man U and Arsenal Away , so we could be 4 in front of them when we play Spurs and they travel to Fulham . Bolton not playing next weekend again , so need them to get stuffed Monday by Newcastle , would mean 3 points in front of them but they would have Villa away and Spurs home , 2 games in hand of us . Lets hope Liverpool turn up Tuesday at Blackburn , thats a bimmin worry to me,

Don't feel we will get a win a WBA at the minute

Don't feel we will get a win a WBA at the minute I feel that this is nailed on. The game that concerns me is Swansea. Will they lose four in a row? Having seen all six of our forthcoming opponents on TV recently I can't see any reason to automatically expect defeat against any of them.

i honestly believe we can and will win both the next two games. adn 3 or 4 games ago i thought we would not win another single game. the team look so good now, hughes has got the shape and the defence so good. we look a proper premiership side now, i know its a bit too late, but please god let us stay up, and then we will really establish ourselves in the prem and be up here forever. i truly believe that as well.

Hope so mike hunt, trouble is we are historically the team that trends stop with, teams on poor runs losing every game always somehow find their form against us! Worried about swansea but hopefully my worries are misguided

.......... MUST WINS !!! (YES 3 points at The Hawthorns too!)
I think that Wigan are down with Wolves because of their tough run in. Thought it was a straight fight with Blackburn for the 3rd relegation spot because of Bolton's easier looking Home games but now after their loss to Fulham maybe it is Bolton's results that we should be looking out for most.
Either way, what is almost certain is that Swansea & Stoke are absolute must wins and looking at Blackburn's & Bolton's remaining fixtures, we will still probably need a further 4 points rather than 3 (38 Pts for safety). Therefore with the games against WBA and Spurs being our best chances and Spurs likely to be fighting for a Champions League place, Saturday's game at WBA is so vital.
A draw (after hopefully beating Swansea) might appear a good result to most Rangers fans BUT I fear that may leave us with more to do on the Last Day than we can achieve.
Come on U Rs, 6 Points this week, PLEASE !!!

Harls, a fighting chance yes but that would probably mean us needing to get 3 points from Spurs/Chelsea/Man City !! I just dont like the chances of that happening.
As I said, on the face of it most of our fans WOULD probably take 4 points from this weeks games if you offered it to them NOW. But I truly believe we NEED 6 points and I will not be celebrating at 5 oclock on Saturday if by then we have less than 34 points.
Come on U Rs !

No one is going to go down based on what happens over the next 2 games, but it will have a big say in it. I think this will go down to the wire.
Do not forget that Bolton have got a blank GW next week followed by a spell of 5 games in 15 days. Thats a nasty energy sapping run-in. By all accounts after the Cissé goal today their body language discernibly slumped and the commentators said it looked like the stuffing had been knocked out of them. They now have to wait 2 weeks to put that right. Not a good way to end matters.
Blackburn are a mystery but I genuinely, honestly believe that something is seriously wrong if a team that has already conceded 67 goals can stay up.
If I'm honest, I think Wolves, Bolton and Blackburn deserve to go and us and Wigan deserve to stay. Especially after both of us being stitched up by the officials.

If this time next week, we havent picked up at least one win, I'd say it would be (realistically) almost impossible...

the players need to do their jobs now and the manager to make sure they do,
good performances to the best of their abilities, no red cards and we wont need any luck, we will stay up

blimey mikehunt--youve done a full u-turn---it was only two weeks ago (and months prior to) you said anyone with any belief should be fully certified as they were living in lala land --and now you are leading the "we are staying up" charge. I remember superhoopsas post a few weeks ago on staying up and boy did he get a good shooing from a lot of posters! so pleased you are now in with the believers --cant wait for wednesday.

Come on U Rs ! 4 points this week , lets get that 32 pts up by Saturday , i'm sure we can get at least 1 point from Spurs,Chelsea and City and we need a Stoke win . That gives us 36 , ideally would like 37. That will mean Wigan and Blackburn having to win 3 and draw 1 to get 38 and Wigan wont do that . Blackburn wont either if Liverpool can at least hold them to a draw minimum.

Spurs are really struggling at the minute I just hope they don't find form again by the time they play us Chelsea are not playing well and neither are Man City so maybe we can pick up a suprising win from one of those games but it will be tough

Spurs dont have a League game now before we play them , play FA Cup Chelsea at the weekend . So when they plau usthere last game will be the Norwich defeat league wise. No game for Bolton this W/E either , the other 4 bottom play though.

We all need to make one hellava noise at Loftus Road on Wednesday night. The crowd played a crucial role aginst Chelsea, Man City, Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal - we won three of those, came close to beating Newcastle and we deserved a point against City.
